My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm part hipster and part redneck with some geek mixed in. Usually bearded, relatively intelligent, and often sarcastic. I try not to take myself too seriously and appreciate the same in others. I dig a sense of humor.

I love dogs and have awesome pugs who are among my best friends. It's probably best that you love dogs too, or at least like them a whole lot.

Stuff I enjoy: snowmobiling, motorcycles, camping, playing the drums (and sometimes other instruments), cooking, video games, sailing, canoeing, going to shows, the occasional movie. I vow to play lots of tennis this summer!

I'm hoping to find somebody with similar interests and values, but who can still expose me to new things. Somebody smart who also appreciates fart jokes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making music. Trying to be skinnier. Mapping out a plan for a more fulfilling career someday. Trying to fit in sleep. Learning to relax.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
....being fair-minded. I try to be an objective thinker. Also, I can make a bad-ass (gin) martini. Vodka martinis make no sense to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My unruly hair. Also that I'm shy. A lot of people probably interpret that as me being a jerk. It wears off once you get to know me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is the part where I condense a bunch of my preferences. OK, here goes:

Office Space, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Spinal Tap, Royal Tenenbaums, Withnail & I, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Wayne's World.

Radiohead, The Beatles, Rustic Overtones, Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith, Nirvana, Beck, Ben Folds, Billy Joel (don't be a hater), Flaming Lips, St. Vincent, Cake, Portishead, etc etc...

Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Perks Of Being a Wallflower, All of the Harry Potters, and pretty much all Kurt Vonnegut. I really wish I would read more.

Daily Show, South Park, Anthony Bourdain, ATHF, Bar Rescue, Austin City Limits, Always Sunny, Red Green, The Simpsons, Good Eats, Family Guy, Futurama.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Friends
Iced Coffee
Large Bodies of Water (Ideally the ocean, lakes qualify)
Good Beer (IPAs are my fave)
My pugs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How tonight is definitely the night I'm going to start going to bed earlier.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No two Friday nights are exactly the same. But most Friday nights find me playing shows, hanging out with friends, or just sitting at home hanging with the pugs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a big ball of nerves.

I watch a lot of Food Network.

you like dudes with beards, romantic dinners, and camp fires. If you're passionate about something and want someone to share it with. If you think I'm cool!
