My self-summary
I'm only a member of this site because I took the OKCupid personality test about a decade ago before it was attached to any of this matchmaking business. Since I have apparently turned out to be a serial monogamist (bf of 2 years, followed by bf of 3 years, followed by bf of 4 years = less than 1 calendar year total combined of being single in my 20s so far, yikes!), I always answered all these questions just for fun with no intentions of really meeting anybody.

I am unlikely to answer MOST of the messages I receive. So please don't get offended by lack of response.
What I’m doing with my life
Moved to Korea to teach English - but mostly just to allow me to travel more.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say my smile...I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I'm going with it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Bonk by Mary Roach, Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris, Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman, and The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy.

Movies: The Mummy, Secretary, Holiday Inn, Sin City, Monsters Inc.

Shows: True Blood, Mad Men, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Blue Planet/Frozen Planet, Downton Abbey, Arrested Development

Music: Mostly everything.... Adele, the Beatles, Carl Cox, Dashboard Confessional, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Guster, Hed Kandi, Incubus, Johnny Cash, Kylie Minogue, Louis Armstrong, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Otis Redding, Postal Service, Queen, the Ramones, Stroke 9, the Temptations, Violent Femmes, Weezer, the Zutons.
BUT I admit, I don't really listen to any of the new pop music nowadays (no Bieber or Taylor Swift for me!) - just not my thing, maybe I'm getting old. :)

Food: Variety. I like tons of different types of food, and I'm definitely a foodie!
The six things I could never do without
laughing, variety of delicious food, good books, internet, high heels, new experiences
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Already have a lot of private things publicly visible on this site from answering these questions over the last DECADE, lol.
You should message me if
you don't really expect a response.

And you have more to say than "hi" because while that might work in person, it's a really poor way to start an email exchange.
