My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess i'm one of those "won't-approach-you-at-freschco-because-I-don't-want-to-be-a-hammy-doornob" kind of guys. When you're a WAYAFBIDWTBAHD it can be sort of tricky to meet, meld and mingle with people you are otherwise interested in everyday situations, and alas I find myself here!

I would describe myself plainly as a gentleman, or at least an aspiring gentlemen seeing as how holding doors open for meek little grannies is one habit I have yet acquire a firm hold on.

(.....kidding!)

Personality-wise I suppose I resemble the inanimate object equivalent of a grandfather clock with an LCD display and built-in wi-fi. That poor, overly complex analogy attempts to describe me as an old-fashioned ol'boy living in a 21st century world. If I had a choice in the matter i'd wish to be born to an affluent family in 17th century Austria but hey, the hand we're dealt, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Since I was but a wee littl-un I dreamt of being a boy in blue. Not those weirdos who do concerts in blue make-up and bald caps, the other boys in blue.

Although think the appeal I saw then might differ from how I see it now; to protect, to help, to be there.

But there will have to be a few more years of college after uni and countless volunteer hours before I ever see a badge and uniform. Wish me luck?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I find I have well-developed communication skills and I am highly conscientious and reliable. I have been playing tennis all my life, and enjoy a wide variety of safe, sane activities.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I am friendly, polite. Most men seem to take to me well enough and most women recall me as "warm".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: The hamburger is the single most important dish to me. So much variety, so ingenious, yet so simple and accessible.

Music: I go by genre moreso than artists and specific songs. I enjoy classic rock, alternative, 80-90s pop primarily.

Shows: My all-time favorite show is The Shield. Honorable mentions go to; Rome, X-Files, Star Trek: TOS & TNG. For comedy I can think of these off the top of my head: Seinfeld, Curb your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny in Philly, IT Crowd, Nathan for You.

Some of my favorite movies off-hand: Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, American History X, Casualties of War, Black Hawk Down, The Quarrel, Days of Glory, Three Kings, Cast Away, The Last of the Mohicans, A Clockwork Orange

Books: A Study in Scarlet, Dangerous Visions, The Trial, Jurassic Park, Dr. Moreau's Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Car
2. Cell phone
3. Internet

Other than that i'm pretty flexible and nothing else is an absolute necessity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I often concern myself with political issues ranging from the troubling US foreign policy to the unchecked exploitative behavior of corporations worldwide.

If my Dolphins can make the playoffs again one day.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a nerdy/geeky side to me that you probably couldn't recognize from just meeting me.
