My self-summary
(If you're old school OkCupid and must know: I am poetic, gnarly, and oblique.)
What I’m doing with my life
I rap, I write web applications, I grill.

I belong to an multidisciplinary arts collective that produces really amazing multimedia ballet shows (I do not dance ballet) and other artistic projects.

I love film and am always looking for new good movies or directors I haven't seen. I love odd, ponderous movies but I can yippie ki yay along with Bruce Willis from time to time too.

I love music. I'm not going to say I love "everything", especially not if it's "mainstream" but I'll listen to "anything". I like some weird noise, some chill sweet singer songwritery stuff, some rock and roll, plenty of hip hop, anything clever and worthwhile. I have a big library, especially of music from the past 5 years or so, and I'm happy to share.
I’m really good at
massage, grilling, picking good playlists, writing, rapping, beekeeping, fatalistic pep talks, tech support for loved ones
The first things people usually notice about me
Fast talking, general enthusiasm for life, beard.

The six things I could never do without
Reddit, cast iron, beats, job, Brooklyn, beer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What people I see on the bus are like in the rest of their life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a weakness for fruity rum drinks, I don't know 1/4 of my ancestry, I go to therapy, and I have baby teeth for upper canines. That's four things. I guess I'm willing to admit a lot.

You should message me if
You flick people off with your ring finger, you never taped over your Betamax copies of Punky Brewster, you think love is violence filled with water, you're filled with self-loathing only on 3rd Tuesdays, you break open gelcap ibuprofens and use the blue goo to freak out 9 year old girls, you don't overcook chicken, you own a collection of something, or none of those things.
