I'm a professional geologist who doesn't always have the normal 9 to 5 routine, which is great since I'm not the average 9 to 5 kind of woman. I work in the environmental industry so, yes, that means I care about the environment and what happens in the world, so I'm a bit of a hippy I guess but not a dirty hippy:) No offense to my dirty hippy friends.
I try to travel for fun as much as my budget will allow, which isn't always as often as I like so it's great I travel for work too :) I have an adventurous streak, which is slowly lessening as I get older but I'm still up for mostly anything. Overall I will try anything once and some things twice, that is of course if I enjoyed it the first time or am just unsure and think i might like it the second time.
My Seattle life. I love to go hear live music. As of late I see anywhere from 1 to 10 shows a month. The number depends on lots of different factors mostly who is in town and what is cheap; however, I have been known to travel far, far away to hear music but that usually means I'm going that way for other reasons. e.g. I am still trying to figure out if I went to mexico recently for a vacation or just because there was a 4 day show I wanted to see... Only my subconscious knows for sure.
I can be social and active and an introvert almost all at the same time. If I'm not out and about I can be caught at home watching movies (my tastes vary but usually on the sci-fi end of the spectum), reading books about anything from string theory to a wizzard on Discworld, baking (anyone for pie), sewing or cooking.
My ultimate dream is to travel in space and see the wonders of the universe. I just don't have the right kind of thumb for hitchhiking and my doctor will just never appear when I want him to.
Just a bit of advice - no matter the problem, the answer is always 42.
