I'm registered Democrat, and tend libertarian. I believe personal responsibility and compassion are not mutually exclusive.

I'm fond of dark beers, mead, honey-based liqueurs, and sake.

I'm involved with a hackerspace in Mountain View. We teach each other tech stuff and collaborate on implementing whims.

I'm certain that great discoveries are hiding in steps of reasoning that can only be reached after entertaining absurd premises.
