My self-summary Propose an edit

I was the co-founder of the ill-fated Committee to Elect McCain-Craig in '08. As much as i wish i could take credit for this brilliant idea to add Sen. Larry "i'm not gay" Craig to the republican ticket, i have to admit that i didn't think of it first. Regardless, i immediately realized that this would have been the dream ticket for the republicans. To maximize his chances, McCheney clearly had to get the pseudo-christian right energized and excited. I can't think of a better way to inspire them than by picking a running-mate who's always been a vocal advocate of "family values" and who's sponsoring the new effort for a Constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. And besides that, how many other political officials have publicly assured the world of their heterosexuality?

I'm also going to keep working on my project to put dick "dark side" cheney where he belongs- alongside Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt atop Mt. Rushmore (preferably without food, water or his personal ambulance and ems crew).

A) I love novels: Huck Finn, Crime and Punishment, Zorba, 100 Years of Solitude, Catch 22, Humboldt's Gift are a few.

B) Most of my favorites are foreign films: La Dolce Vita, Satyricon, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, The Motorcycle Diaries, but also Angels in America to name a few.

C) Classical music: Mozart, Schubert, Stravinsky, etc. Jazz: Coltrane, Miles, Ella Fitzgerald, Keith Jarrett, Dave Douglas, James Carter, etc. Many other types of music: Dylan, J. Cash, Ray Charles, Fayrouz, Woodie Guthrie, Nana Mouskouri, and on and on.

D) Most ethnic food, especially with a good wine (the highly observant reader might notice that the latter is a recurring theme).

I like to think way outside the box. I don't agree with the fundamentalists that the world is only 6,000 or so years old. I've calculated that it's actually 8,700 to 9,300 years old. I've also given much thought to understanding how sporadic reporting of facts by the timid mass media is clear evidence of their liberal bias.
