I am the sound, the night, and the city on fire.
My Self-Summary
I like checking out
live music, going out
dancing, and having fun.
I'm pretty agreeable and can have just as much fun
staying at home,
reading a book,
cooking, or
watching
movies. I have my head on straight.
I like to play
scrabble,
chess, and random games. I think the day
you stop having adventures is the day you become old. I have the
world's worst sense of direction. Most of my adventures are a
result of being lost, and taking it as an opportunity to see
something you otherwise wouldn't.
Also, I do have tattoos, if that's a dealbreaker, but they are
covered under normal clothing.

What I’m doing with my life
Work, eat, sleep, shower, repeat.
Somewhere in there, learning to smell the roses.
I run just about everyday. I am not one of those people who love
running - for me it's more about sticking to a routine. I generally
run about six miles five days a week.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: My favorite author is probably
Kurt Vonnegut. I read a lot of
non-fiction as well. Currently I'm reading a book about Barbarian
invasions, and how they changed Rome's infrastructure. That
probably makes me sound way more boring than I actually am. I hate
writing about books, because I'm always reading something, and it's
annoying to keep updating, so if you have a question about what I'm
reading, just ask me!
Music: I love music of all kinds. My favorite band is
Wilco, even though they're
getting way to art-rock these days. Close behind would be
Radiohead. My favorite
songwriter has to be
Bob Dylan. Other than that, I'm into
anything from the
misfits to
Lil Wayne. I can listen to pretty much
anything if it's sincere and well done. Stuff currently on my mp3
playlist include:
The Fashion,
The Editors,
David Bowie,
The Rolling Stones,
Queen,
The Thermals,
Young Love,
Prince,
Cody Chestnutt,
Yeah Yeah
Yeahs,
The Harlem Shakes,
Parker &
Lily,
the
Cure and
The
Pixies.
I love Jamaican music as well, from
ska and
rocksteady to more modern
dancehall.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What makes some people heroes and others monsters.... Why certain
songs sound better on cassette.... Do aesthetics change or do we?
How little is enough, and how much is too much? More cowbell?
Why is Glenn Beck's Common Sense twice as long as Thomas Paine's?
On a typical Friday night I am
Remembering that I probably have to work Saturday morning.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a member of a secret society.
You should message me if
You think you can snatch the pebble from my hand.
Okay, that was kinda lame. Just message me if you're looking for
someone who's fun to hangout with, isn't crazy, has a sense of
humor and can carry a conversation.... you should meet the same
specifications as well!
Also, if you play drums, you get bonus points.
