Hello, my name is George, I'm a single, approachable and reasonably intelligent guy interested in making new friends in hopes of finding the special one. I enjoy shared custody of my two adorable children who live with me on a 50/50 basis. I am a nondestructive testing professional that has been practicing for the past 25 years. I live a active and relatively healthy lifestyle and think its important to take care of myself. I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking (mtb), swimming, grilling and occasional camping/hiking. I listen a wide range of music and on occasion go out to hear live performances. I'm interested in meeting a mature, attractive (slim to average) and intelligent woman, that maintains a positive perspective, keeps unnecessary drama to a minimum and for the most part, is enjoying life's adventures.

There are many forces in life that I have no control of. I accept and am at peace with that. With that said, I am trying my best to navigate through life with the hand that I'm dealt. Im raising my kids the best way I know how to and enjoying life as I go along. I try to improve upon those aspects that I can.

Believe it or not, I'm a very good listener. I'm pretty good at cooking especially grilling. Oh, and I've been told I have a good fake British accent.

I don't know, I don't ask and they normally don't tell.

I've noticed that most of the TV shows that I like are car shows like Top Gear and the sci-fi and series types. Currently Spatacus owns the #1 slot. When it comes to movies, action, adventure, sci-fi and drama. Oh, I love them in 3D too. Drum and Bass makes up most of the music that Inlisten too. Books, usually read technical manuals or car magazines.

I often reflect at the end of each day on the decisions I've made and the impact they've made on mine and my kids lives. I think about where I am in regards to relationships, career, family and financials and how it compares to where I think I should be.

That's funny, but some of my friends laugh at the fact that I iron my t-shirts.
