I am working on creating a balance between my work life and my social life. I have a very challenging and exciting career, that keeps me busy, but I am eager and open to meet someone special to make that balance a reality in my life.

Working out regularly and excited about my spring running program that starts March 2!! Go Chicago Endurance Sports!!! I will be running through snow to enjoy the spring running season here in Chicago!

I am working on re-decorating my house, room by room. Paint colors have been occupying my mind at times recently! The kitchen is up next, thinking about a pale grey shade. I am open to suggestions!! :)

I love to read a good mystery, either British or Nordic in genre. I am a die hard BBC America fan, but also love Masterpiece Theater. The channel constantly changes on my satellite radio so I can't give any specifics, but music is definitely important to me! I am a foodie... I love to stay in and cook and entertain, but I also enjoy finding new places to try here in Chicago. Fell in love with the devil's food cake at The Dutch in NYC. Had a mind-blowing meal at Schwa, it was amazing... What is it about the meatballs at RPM Italian? Currently reading guide books for my trip to Italy. I seem to read cook books as well and of course my newest Bon Appetit.

Where I want to go on vacation!!! And then what I would do, and where I would eat on this escape...Going to hike the Amalfi Coast for 2 weeks in October! Can't wait. Will start in Naples and then end up in Rome on the back end of my trip for some R&R and of course gelato!

I also have been thinking about kayaking on the Chicago River when the weather gets more agreeable. I have no idea why I want to do this, but a different perspective of the river and the buildings downtown might prove to be quite interesting...

Absolutely love; Brugge Belgium, and want to re-visit this magical place with someone special. Brugge, is quaint, cutting edge on the beer scene and amazing in the food culture!!! Would love to share it with the right person.

Usually doing something casual, and low-key. Grabbing a bite after work with colleagues or simple dinner at home.

Now that the weather is improving, spending time on my deck with friends after an evening run.
