My self-summary
I've got 30 years of trickiness and creativity under my belt. And... according to a questionnaire which I took while sitting in a class I didn't belong in, I have a 85% social desirability. Maybe I should focus my educational aspirations on a psych major so I can sit around all day and answer true / false tests to find out how desirable I am?
What's there to say about myself?
I am the fabled 'Single father, firefighter, medic'. I'm that back country hiker who didn't bother to heed the warning signs that read Park Closed: Hungry Wild Ass-Bears Seen Mauling Hikers. I went ahead and ignored the signs, ran into a beastly bear, fell into a Batman lair-like cave as I tried to outrun the bastard, and got myself wedged between hell and a giant boulder.
I am the mythical man whose life long dreams are quickly becoming reality.
What I’m doing with my life
School. I am doing school. But I'm not complaining, most people go to school and learn communications... or math. 4I < 12u that sort of thing. I get to learn how to help people who are bleeding to death in an alleyway. I get to learn how to save a families home when it is going up in flames. These things keep my life interesting. Being a single dad takes up most of my time, but when I'm not doing that, and I'm not taking classes, I enjoy paddle boarding, drawing, and learning (very very slowly) how to play guitar.
I’m really good at
I am really good at life. Life tends to have a way of just working out. Everything seems to go very smoothly. I have been through enough in the past, and have learned from my mistakes. I take those lessons and apply them to the way I live now, which has created a nice stable and happy home for me and my son.

I am unbeatable at music and movie trivia. I can explain the meaning behind every single line of American Pie.

I have also frontpaged Reddit twice with original content.
I bet you are impressed now right? no? ...well damn.
The first things people usually notice about me
My son. No seriously... it's always my son.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: anything by Vonnegut, I swear that man shaped my teen years. Sam Harris, Dawkins, I'm not really into science fiction but 'ready player one' by Cline was amazing. I'm proud to say that I understood 75% of 'A Brief History of Time'.

Movies: I think its illegal in the state of Florida for a guy to not list the Godfather as his favorite movie, but other that that i tend to drift towards comedy, 80s-90s horror, and 90's drama.

Shows: I am ashamedly addicted to one tree hill. but other than that I like shows like: who's line, walking dead, sopranos, the wire, and I have a strange fascination with golden age shows like lassie, and dragnet.

Music: Jack Johnson, Matisyahu, Sublime, my tastes vary from time to time. One day I may be listening to Nofx, the next day Johnny Cash. One day Frank Sinatra, the next day Five Finger Death Punch... it depends on my mood.
The six things I could never do without
#1 My friends, who could ever live without the company and support of their friends? And even if they could, why would they want to?
#2 My family (see #1)
#3... I'll just stick with the two.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My families future. Also Cheetos.
On a typical Friday night I am
Riding bikes through downtown St. Augustine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
a girl once asked me out by quoting a will ferrell movie.
while in the grocery store she walked up to me with two bags of flour.
She said "I brought you flours, would you like to have dinner?"

It was cute. I wish more girls were that aggressive.
