studying musician from Calgary AB
Just looking to meet more people in montreal. I mostly like my space and am pretty busy, so if your really clingy...your probably wasting your time.

I moved across canada to study classical guitar with a specific teacher I choose. I work very hard at one day becoming a professional performing musician. I've already had experience teaching guitar since I was 16 and would like to continue this after Im done university (I am in my 2nd year right now...probably in for the long haul masters or who knows maybe more.), but would like to get to the point where I can pick and choose my students (no poor little kids who dont want to be there and waste my (and their) time because their parents push it on them). Im studying classical but also have interest in pretty much any type of music. My and my sister both came into some money when our grandfather passed away so Im looknig for to using my education to start a studio (or maybe some joint endevour with my sister) once a finish school and have taken a few years to perform and get some touring under my belt.

I grew up living with my grandparents since i was about 4 years old, because my parents were both drug addicts/ well just had alot of personal issues. They were young grandparents so it wasnt really any different then most people parents except for they were alittle more relaxed since they already did it...ie I have a very found memory of my gma (grandma) asking me if I wanted to get high and watch family guy with her...(she only started smoknig like 2-3 years ago). but the whole thing gave me some pretty sweet insights of what NOT to be when i
"grew up". some pretty messed memorys/experiences come up occassionaly when your parents are those kind of people, but alot of people had it alot worse so i consider my self pretty lucky.
