My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Summarizing yourself is one of the hardest things to do: a few lines can't do justice to describe who you are. Didn't you feel the same way when writing out your own self summary? Nevertheless, I'll try. Feel free to throw things at me - nice or harsh.

I moved to SF an year ago, after having lived in completely diverse corners of India and then Santa Barbara. SF however, is a class apart as it caters perfectly well to my interests in life. I like its simplicity and hordes of things to do.

I am a simple person with an adventurous and thrill seeking side. For the very reason, I am often outdoors: climbing, hiking, biking or simply walking. Every now and then, I also find time to indulge my competitiveness by playing soccer.. I love that game!

Often I let myself drift into a state of day dreaming: painting pictures in my mind.. of flying through the galaxy and universe, of bringing a smile on someone's face, of running through savanna grass, of playing a violin, of immersing myself in a different culture... and so on and so forth.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living a simple and joyful life:
I code for money and food at a startup in downtown San Francisco. Taking risks in life spilled over to my professional life.
When, I am not doing that... I am drinking coffee, rock climbing, hiking, biking, reading, attending interesting events in this awesome city and hanging out with friends. Sometimes I feel that even 25 hours are not enough in a day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Rock climbing, programming, staying fit, contemplating the 'purpose of life' and carrying a positive outlook.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am pocket-sized, and fairly quiet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything except fast food (chipotle excluded). One of the goals of my life: taste all the cuisines before my gastric powers wane.

Books:
Non fiction books are what attract me the most, unless it is an exceptional science fiction. Currently, I am engrossed in Asimov novels and Astrophysics 101.

Music:
I am heavily into instrumentals and Hans Zimmer is my absolute favorite music composer.
Besides orchestra, I love any music that can make you smile. U2 is my all time favorite.

Shows:
Documentaries: I enjoy learning and growing a bit as a person every day. I have watched countless documentaries: from astrophysics to political, and I can't get enough of them.
Other stuff that I enjoy: Friends, The big bang theory, Sherlock (both new and the old series).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends
Adventure
Compassion & kindness
Science
Music
My bike
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- The Universe (with constant reflections upon life and happiness)

- Humanity and Cultures

- How to help people, make a difference and be a better person.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes in an unexplored restaurant and then a bar with friends, or in the climbing gym, or coding ruthlessly in the office.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can get deeply philosophical.

You are looking for activity partners to explore the city and neighborhood with, especially outdoor activities (bonus points for rock climbing!).
Most importantly, if you're a nice and genuine person. :)
