I am thinking of ghosts, making you breakfast, and making you toast.

My Self-Summary

I am impulsive.
I'm quite noticably spaced out.
I have an unfortunate tendency to retreat to my own internal world.
I'm moody.
I love going to the library.
I make animal noises.
I detest your talk of sports and celebrities.
I get jealous of brilliant thinkers.
I wish I had more ideas.
I have a lot of baggage, but won't make you carry it.
I am a glutton for affection.
People rarely have any idea what I'm talking about.
I rarely have any idea what I'm talking about.
Apparently, I start a lot of sentences with 'I'.

tl;dr?
fine: I'm a deadbeat. That's all you need to know.

What I’m doing with my life

Soul searching? Just moved from Ohio to Pittsburgh to live with my sister, bobearica (she's a rascal). I'm taking time off from school (read: quit school) to write, read some books, make some mediocre and inconsequential art, form some friendships and explore.

These days, I've been spending the majority of my time job hunting and wishing I knew more people here. I also watch / listen to an inordinate amount of public television and NPR.

I’m really good at

Being cryptic and vague and also a kitten.
Going to Goodwill.
Not having money, ever.
Alienating entire rooms.

The first things people usually notice about me

Possibly that I look like I have no idea what's going on.

The six things I could never do without

1. large doses of affection
2. empathy / compassion
3. David Bowie
4. the British in general, actually
5. lulz
6. cute shit

I spend a lot of time thinking about

1970s rock'n'roll
diabolical schemes
how kittens are cute
how cool it would be if my life was a Wes Anderson film
where did all of my money go?
alliteration
things that have pleasant aromas
substances
if animals could talk--more importantly, if they could travel to space
puppetry
stuff I want

so, yeah. welcome to my mind.

On a typical Friday night I am

Asking my sister to take me somewhere, being denied, vengefully drinking her rum and then hiding from cats and robots and stuff.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm penniless
I lost a lot (a lot a lot) of weight over the past two years
I am undeniably weird

You should message me if

...you don't have an overwhelming urge to punch me in the face.

If you'll actually message me, because winking is for pussies.
If you know anyone who can teach me to play the accordion.
If you want to help a directionally challenged Ohioan navigate her way around Pittsburgh.

If you are David Bowie.
