Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a single parent of a nine-year-old daughter. I am also a
teacher. As much as I enjoy teaching at the graduate level, I think
that grade school education is much more important. In general, the
most crucial years in anyone's life are the earliest.
I have traveled extensively in the United States and abroad.
Currently, my daughter and I take day trips and an occasional
longer adventure. We enjoy camping in National Parks as much as we
enjoy staying at nice resorts.
The best way to learn about the world is to see it in person. I
love taking my daughter to exciting places and I love seeing the
world through her bright eyes. However, I also want to share my
life with a woman as a couple. Life is most enjoyable when shared
with a partner. My daughter and I have plans for future exciting
vacations. I also wonder: What are some of the places that you want
to visit in the future?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The highest priority in my life is to be a good father. My greatest
hope for my daughter is that she has a happy life. As a teacher, I
thrive on continually learning new things. As a biochemist, I
constantly improve my understanding of how life works in atomic
detail. Currently, I am rebuilding a research project in which I
study the relationship between cancer and aging. I would enjoy
discussing my research with you. It is pretty exciting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Since I am a teacher, I constantly work on my communication skills.
In fact, students rate my lecture highly. At the same time, I am
beginning to doubt my ability to communicate, since I have had so
little response form this web site.

My sense of humor is original and unusual. When my daughter is
around she often tries to help by explaining: "Daddy is just making
a joke." My brother has a sense of humor that is even more original
and unusual than mine.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My daughter, my mind, mobility, friends, nature, income, my iPhone,

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I hope to hear from you if you like children. If you want to share
in a family life. If you enjoy going to movies, festivals, museums,
and beaches. If you would like to go on road trips as a complete
family, perhaps camping trips to national parks. If you want to
build a life-long relationship. I enjoy philosophical discussions
with people of all beliefs. I am fascinated by ancient history and
by the development of religions. However, you probably will not
like me if your God is the center of your life or if you seek a
partner to share a rigid religious belief system. Although I was
raised in a large extended family of Christian "fundamentalists," I
am not religious. Instead, I am a scientists. As a biochemist, I
understand how life evolved on earth.
