My dream is to go into space. I enjoy a wide array of other things that range from acting Shakespeare, writing short stories, reading profusely, and napping during thunderstorms. I'm a tinkering hobbyist who enjoys making little inventions on the side and I am back at college to make this interest official by studying electrical engineering(ladies, please control yourselves)! I have a dream of creating new technology that helps people, and eventually space technology once I become qualified enough. It's a life goal of mine to go into space, and if possible I would love to become an astronaut working for any of the various private industry space companies popping up around the world. I am currently getting my private pilot's license while at college in Miami.

I really don't know what to think about myself, but people generally describe me as a nice person. I have somewhat of a hectic past and I partied more than anything else while going to college in DC. I've found something that I think is quite rare: a life ambition. This has provided focus in my life that was never there before, and every waking moment is spent working toward those goals.

I grew up in Brazil for most of my life and speak Portuguese and some hideous, mutated form of Spanish.

Just got back from working in Rio and now going back to University to try and get a few more degrees in engineering. Will be strange but I'm excited. Imagine Billy Madison, but with more math and science and less dating, or girls in general.

Reading, writing, numbers. I also like to cook but it's one of those things where the food either comes out tasting fantastic or like something a cat threw up.

It's probably my eyes.

I read everything I can get my hands on. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Orson Scott Card, Robert Jordan, Michael Crichton, and many more. I'm obsessed with science fiction, especially the type that has good and believable science behind it. These are the books that become the theoretical foundation for many of the inventions and technology we are working on today (warp drive, holograms, teleportation, etc...). In fact quite a few of the big authors were/are scientists themselves!

I love old asian movies, as well as a heap load of anime. The are of course western classics like the life of david gale, the devil's advocate, pi, serenity, etc...

I honestly listen to everything, but right now I'm on a broadway/disney/musical itch right now that needs some serious scratching.

I eat everything, but my favorite food is spaghetti. By far, bar none. Spaghetti. But also sushi. Mostly sushi and spaghetti. My body is probably 30-70% spaghetti or sushi at any given time.

My books (so I guess I can do without my eyesight?).
Food (no specification needed).
Afternoon nap.
Did I mention food? Mostly food.

Space. I want to go into space. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what the future will be like, both in the personal and larger sense of the word. What will our world look like in 5, 10 years? What will I be like? How can I shape both myself and the world and give my life meaning? Not quite Plato, but it does keep me up at night.

I like to do something new every weekend. I have a huge list of things to do and I'm actively trying to complete it. I'm an avid believer that bucket lists shouldn't exist.

Sometimes I take Friday nights off to just stay inside and watch movies. I must be cocooned in my blanket for this to function properly. I also love to go to the movies, and probably watch a few hundred every year.

I've read 3 twilight books, more out of curiosity than because I actually liked them. I did not like them, so cool your jets people!
