I am generous, energetic, and quick-witted.
My Self-Summary
Watching the sunset or the waves crash on the beach, hanging out in
the mountains, or just living life is what makes me happy to be
alive. I love experiencing life and everywhere it takes me. I am
looking for someone that feels the same; someone who loves to
travel and experience new things. Whether it's going to a different
country or maybe just down the road, likes a cold beer on a hot day
or a nice bottle of wine with a long dinner.
For my age, I've lived a pretty interesting life so far. I have had
several different careers that have led me to where I am in life
spiritually. I have set long term and short term goals for myself,
but I don't want to get into details here. It always seems little
self-obsessed to write these summaries.
I work out 3 or 4 times a week and I eat pretty healthy. That
doesn't mean I expect anyone else around me to do the same. I tried
to be a vegetarian once and I found out I missed meat too
much!
I like to be giving in my relationships and do little things 'just
because'; reciprocity is ideal! I have so many interests and I am
always looking to build on them.
I’m interested in some casual dating with the potential for
something more. I'm looking for a sweet guy that makes me laugh and
shares my interests. I would like someone to teach me new things.
For instance, I've never gone skiing! I'm itching to go rock
climbing soon.
What I’m doing with my life
I own a Personal Chef business, which I am continuing to build. I
volunteer teach at a learning center once a month. My permanent job
is a Personal Chef/Nanny for 4 families in Genesee. Also I'm
writing a children's book. It sounds like alot, but I actually have
quite a flexible schedule.
I think volunteer work is important, so I dedicate some of my time
to the Colorado Pug Rescue. I help out whenever I'm needed.
I’m really good at
Playing video games, being a good friend and listener, cooking and
anything that allows me to be creative. I've been known to remember
quotes from movies and apply them to random situations. But I don't
do it all the time like an idiot.
Also I'm good at fixing things on my computer.
The first things people usually notice about me
My inquisitiveness.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
The Sookie Stackhouse series are my favorite books. I have recently
read "Emotional Intelligence" and "Beginner Writer's Answer Book."
As far as movies go, it's hard to choose because there are alot.
"Zach and Miri" was awesome! People are always surprised that I
liked that movie (because I'm a girl?) I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith
movies. That man is a genius. Jazz, rock, pop, just about any kind
of music. Greek is my favorite type of food. Also I love sushi,
Italian, and French. I'll try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
Food, water, shelter, oxygen, a good book, and a pocket knife.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The book that I'm working on. Also the meaning of life. Sometimes I
am full of rage at the news reporting about stupid things like
American Idol. Because that's not news!!! I think about alot of
different things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually I go out with friends for drinks. I don't have any typical
Friday nights. Whatever comes up. Sometimes I work late Friday
nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a birthmark that looks like a chicken. You might be
surprised as to where!
You should message me if
If you are well versed in life’s lessons, slow to judge, quick to
comfort, converses with candor and ease, intolerant of stupidity
and the like, and/or somewhat of a geek then we would likely make a
good match! Someone who gets my sense of humor is also very
important to me. I think it is great to have varied interests as
well as shared interests. Personal space is necessary to me. I
can't handle clingyness since I am fairly independent. I am a very
busy lady, but I always make time for the people I care
about.
Please don't contact me if you don't like kids since kids are a big
part of what I do every day.
