My self-summary
Hello, I have fairly recently moved down to Brighton for work, it's great but a little lonely so looking for new faces to and experiences!
I have removed my profile picture because a fake person on this site cloned my profile, using my picture and my self-summary, and I don't want to risk it happening again!
What I’m doing with my life
Busy being a slave to the NHS, enjoying settling into Brighton, generally not doing too much with my life but tend to get itchy feet fairly regularly (not literally) so will probably want a change soon! Waiting happily for the warmer weather so I can spend more time on the beach :)
I’m really good at
procrastinating, being the only one of my friends up for a night out, not cooking, swimming, hitting the curb when I try to park my car, naming inanimate objects, making tea, being a good host.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not sure, possibly that I am on the ginger spectrum, or my laugh (it's more of a very loud cackle). I'm not the sort of girl who dresses up or wears make up (except on special occasions), I prefer to be comfortable even if that makes me sound old!!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am fairly unpretentious in my tastes generally.
I don't watch TV because I don't have one at the moment, but I do watch a fair few DVDs- particularly foreign ones or really stupidly bad ones (The Room, Troll 2 etc.)- and really want to go to Duke of York's cinema more!
Love reading, currently trying out crime fiction for a change; I read a lot at the moment due to the aforementioned lack of TV, anything from the classics through to Harry Potter (yes, I am not ashamed!).
I enjoy going to gigs, the next one lined up is Alt J, my favourite all time band are Ocean Colour Scene, best gigs ever were Stornoway, Hotchip and Faithless. Pretty much I like anyone live, not keen on pop except for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu!
Food....I am vegetarian but incredibly unfussy otherwise. I can't cook well, so won't be able to cook you a meal, but lots of places to eat out in Brighton :)
The six things I could never do without
family and friends, my bed, long hot showers, weekends, hope
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life in general and the passage of time; whether I am responsible enough yet to get a cat; how to earn enough money to quit work already.
On a typical Friday night I am
hopefully in a pub, preferably an "old man's pub", drinking beer, putting the world to rights, before going on to a cheesy club and dancing badly
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I listen to classic fm when I'm in my car *hangs head in shame*
