Two things you should know about me: I love Oreos and my cat. But alas, neither are capable of appreciating good coffee nor intelligent conversation and so here we are. I think I'd like to find someone who ideally loves all four (Oreos, cats, coffee, and conversation) but I fear I may be setting high standards and that's supposedly a good recipe for disappointment.

I could probably settle for someone who loves Oreos.

I code stuff for a living and so far, it's been great. I also mine redstone ore, rescue puppies and kittens, and attend poetry readings in my spare time.

A military brat, I've been through most of the states and still continue to wander about aimlessly from time to time. Eventually, though, I'd like to travel outside the U.S. and see the world but for now, I'm settling with Google Earth.

Busting out the awkward turtle and evading invasive questions. ;)

Also, I'm kind of a pro when it comes to Tuesday crossword puzzles. I'm slowly making my way to Saturday.

My perfectly tanned skin and midnight hair that shines in the midday sun. I guess.

Movies: 3:10 to Yuma, Black Swan, The Dark Knight. Most any genre really, but I think I tend to love films that have a little grit in them. I also adore Ryan Gosling.

Cat - After a long day of work, I can count on coming home to find Starscream waiting at the door. Now I could always do with a little hug from that certain someone I have yet to find, but my heart will forever have room for a beloved pet.

Friends and family - Some of my fondest memories involve pigging out on dessert and coffee at a diner and talking into the wee hours of the morning. On one occasion, I told my best friend's new beau that he wasn't allowed to touch her until I had given him my 'seal of approval.' I might have been a little drunk.

Camera - I have an ever-growing archive of photos that spans back to 2005, the year I got my first camera. I compare pictures of myself now and back then and I always cringe at that nasty mustache I sported. Oh, how the times have changed.

Metro card - I was on my way back from work one day, driving along Wilson Blvd near Clarendon, when I'm stopped by this car that randomly decides to double park. In the middle of road. During rush hour. I just simmered and silently took it, because I knew that that was what I got for driving to work that day.

Music - I went to twelve shows and one festival last year and have the t-shirts to prove it. There's just something about seeing a good band live that leaves you wanting more. It's like that glowing rush after a hard workout or great sex. Or maybe I have an addiction. I don't know but I hope that you can keep up.
