my name is brandon. I am a 24 year old. I love to read, make art , bowl, and hike. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. Im 6 foot 8. I simply looking for some one to date, in a normal sense. Looking for sane people who drive, have goals, and live happy lives. I have a great job, car, and friends. I get along with confident people.

I read a lot. around 60 novels is my yearly average. Im very independent, but also fiercly loyal and very affectionate with the right person.
I have been(not anymore) in a long term relationship (2 years), but i tend to just be a very solo person. When i find the right person, my romantic side comes out.
I love to paint with oils, i spend a lot of time biking and gardening veggies. I really enjoy being goofy, watching horror films, and having new adventures. I try and live life to the fullest, with a motto of "if im bored, I must be doing something wrong."

Everyone i know would call me a good person, most would call me a nice person. I dont think all of life's problems can be solved with love, I am a realist. i try to live and enjoy life.

i work in education as a behavioral specialist. Saving money , trying to pay off the debt slowly and live a fairly modest life in the mean time. like to travel and do things that push my comfort zone. Have a four year degree, planning on grad school in the next 5 years. Social work or public health seems to me a calling.
I hang out with my friends on a pretty routine based schedule. But i am definately a person to drop what im doing and be spontaneous. I dont really want to stay in Santa Cruz more than a couple years, ive outgrown the small town mentality and am willing to lose a lot of the fluff (the well paying job and new car) for some more substance somewhere else.
I like new expieriences, i went skydiving this year, read a substantial amount of books written before the 6th century, and learned to garden/farm for edible vegetables.

Im a messy person. my photo graphic memory makes this easier on my life

I smoke cigarettes, I acknowledge this to be a bad trait.

I break phones a lot. im on my 5th one this year. I dont have an iphone, my phones cost 30 bucks.

I am awful at math. (embarrasing)

Im super tall. Very social, very funny, and i eat a lot of meat.

books- a picture of dorian gray, metamorphoses-ovid, Oryx and Crake, the robber bride, geek love, martian chronicles. whitman, plath, heaney, dan simmons is a new fav.

movies- sympathy for lady vengence, the hours, beetlejuice, fifth element, poltergeist series, (i love horror movies) the descent,

food- i dont like Thai or hot dogs ,everything else is great. im lactose intolerant. i hate tequila and i love sushi.
music- no rap(except girltalk) everything else is awesome, from vaudville to manson, enya to the distillers, bauhaus to gorillaz. everything, even opera.

the after life- like beetlejuice style afterlife. i think about gods a lot, and their assumed relationship with humanity.

I dont talk about religion or politics with most people in depth. I have views that clash with most in some way or another and i just think its personal.

oddly enough i rarely date smokers, its gross, im aware of my hypocrisy here, and i know its gross, and i do it.
