My self-summary
Not everyone's cup of tea :p

Probably not in any place to be good dating material, but I can be a good for a drink and a chat if nothing else.

Itinerant teacher and literary hack. Currently in the middle of nowhere (sort of the Minneapolis region), so don't really expect anything to come of this. This profile is something of a message in a bottle. Maybe someone interesting will float along...

Colorado native. College in Seattle. Brazil for a year and a half. Nepal for 2 years. Northern CA mountains for a year. Houston for a year. NYC for almost 10 years. Woodstock for 6 months. Now the Great Lakes woods.

INFP type if that tells you anything
What I’m doing with my life
House sitting in Bisbee for the summer.

Teaching college philosophy (specialize in Asian but also do western. Also into gender studies, feminism, and lgbt issues) at a small college on the banks of Lake Superior. Not a permanent position, so the gypsy life will resume in a year or so. Who knows where... Fingers crossed for Austin, Nashville, LA, Bay, or Portland.

Other than teaching I translate French and Tibetan sometimes and work on my own scribblings.

It would be cool to make a friend in Minneapolis or Madison or someplace not too far away to hang out with occasionally. Not much social life where I am. Otherwise, I'm not much use unless you have something interesting to say and feel like sending a random message just to chat.

I think the match % thing is pretty accurate, so the higher the better. In my experience, it's really a waste of time if under 85%. Maybe just for a beer and chat is fine...
