I've recently moved in to my own place after a house share and apart from missing the dog, cats and lambs and loving my own space again - hopefully to be shared with a dog of my own.
You may have gathered already that I'm happiest outdoors, and while I climb, fell run, love swimming in the open air and might have a slight endorphins addiction the biggest thing for me is getting away from things for a bit regularly so walking in the hills in Yorkshire of the Peak or further afield is fantastic.
Other childish glee related escapades include summer and winter climbing, used to be skydiving but I'm currently on a break after 7 years of harvesting my own organs to pay for it, I drive a motorbike.....and you know how you hear people say "when I was younger we used to do x, y, z which was really dumb!"....well I'm likely to be the one saying "what do you mean when you were younger?! Let's do that now!"
Alcohol is sometimes an influence in the above....
I am just escaping the 9-5.30 working in a sort of IT/project management/cat herder (you know the phrase "getting things done is like herding cats here!"?) and going solo doing some freelancing geek stuff and attempting to get some business ideas off the ground in event management and in getting people drunk....imagine the devil with thick glasses!....except I don't wear glasses and I don't have cloven feet.
I'm also a bit of a geek, I game a wee bit, I don't watch tv but find myself drawn to cult series several years to late, like my rock/metal music, and get frustratingly drawn in to problem solving.
