Hey there.

I'm a 26-year-old guy, new to the city, born and raised in a small town. I'm single, no children, and my work is in what I realized awhile ago, is my dream career.

I like to dabble in *almost* everything that life has to offer, if it's within my limits. I play a little guitar, I'm a bit of a tech-nerd, I love aviation (it's what I do for a living), and during the Summer, I give people mouth-gasms with my grilling skills.

Being new to my concrete surroundings, I'm looking to meet new people, make new friends, possibly more. I'm a bit of a smart-ass, quick to tease, and a solid type A personality. If you've got thin skin and no sense of humor, reconsideration might be in order.

Last but not least, I'm big. Not morbidly obese, just big. Jolly. Husky. Stout. You get the picture.

What I’m doing with my life

My work is in aviation, that's really all I'd like to say for now, except that I love what I do, I'm still relatively new at it, and I plan to retire from it in about thirty years. :)

I’m really good at

Nothing. But I'm "pretty" good at a lot of things. Music, electronics, cooking, general knowledge questions (all hail Cash Cab), and even a bit of science and medicine. I was a biology major and EMT once upon a time.

The first things people usually notice about me

My attitude. I'm happy, friendly, and I go out of the way to make a "welcome" impression. I think a friend once described it best as "you big, jolly bastard."

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite movie is the Shawshank Redemption, favorite song is "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears For Fears. Favorite food is just about anything made on a *real* grill. I honestly like a little bit of everything life has to offer... didn't I go over that earlier?

(I've got way too many "favorite" things in life to even begin a list.)

The universe, space and time, and the "thereafter." Alternative energy. How presidents became talking heads. Songs that get stuck in my head. Women. Jet aircraft. Lunch. How things are made, and how they work. Beer. Limitless possibilities. Why things are the way they are, and what a small change could do. People in general.

On a typical Friday night I am

Going to bed around 22:30 so I'm up at 05:30. :)

I was once mistaken for a polar bear in Oklahoma.

You like what you read, but not just because it's "giggly" entertainment. If you're a real woman, not a girl - and by this I mean you have a head on your shoulders. You understand that I've used both "you're" and "your" in this block of text already, and know the difference between the two.

You should message me if you understand that I'm not perfect. I'm rough around the edges, I'm a big guy (in good health, though), I make mistakes. I am, however, intelligent, faithful, honest, straight-forward, and cut clean of all the horseshit that I see good-looking, dim-witted, spike-haired Heineken-drinking assholes just oozing with all the time.
