What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
... A good friend of mine has once written a quite precise description about what I am doing with my life - therefore I'd like to quote: " In order for the kids not to become weed-smoking, promiscuous assholes, I try and give them a little bit of general knowledge. The aim is to enable them of outside-the-box thinking and to make them become friendly and happy members of the society." Seriously - NOONE ever described it better than that.
The rest of the time I spend with my family and friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
talking about arts, ice/inline skating, chilling, drawing, drinking whisky, hobby philosophizing about life, getting injured; not really good - but quite okay: playing piano / guitar, ice-hockey.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music and arts play an important role in my life: Mostly I listen to alternative rock, indie, classic (especially the baroque stuff) and hip hop... Books: The Pillars of the Earth, The Green Mile (mostly pop-literature like Dan Brown or Rob Tom Smith stuff) but I also like serious works like Hemmingway's short stories or Max Frisch's Homo Faber... When it comes to movies - I think it's hard to decide - it depends on the mood, I guess: But here are some that I really like: Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, No Country for Old Men, Brooklyn's Finest, Training Day, Heat, Book of Eli, Back to the Future (yes, it's great!), Source Code, Goodbye Lenin, Das Leben der Anderen - but I also love the PIXAR animations like Toy Story, Wall E, Monsters Inc. ... TV shows: The Simpsons, Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, Life, The Wonder Years...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm convinced that you can do without anything...since you will still breathe even if you get rid of the stuff that you possess or that seems so important to you... For me life is only about the people who surround you - I think I couldn't do so well without them - and they would be my family and some real close friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life, work, books, (good) movies, poems, music, arts...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
..tired but ready to party.
