My self-summary
I have such a hard time filling these things out as I sometimes have a hard time putting my thoughts into words... but I'll give it my best shot.

I am an easy going, laid back person, probably too laid back for most. I am also shy/introverted, so it takes me a little while to warm up to others. Sometimes having a conversation is a bit hard for me as (like I said above), I have some difficulty putting my thoughts into words. This can cause some problems for some people, however I am trying to get better with it. Also, I do have a hard time doing "small talk" however again, I am trying to work on this and I am finding it a bit hard to do. (Boy... I seem to putting my flaws down aren't I? :) ) I do enjoy going out some nights and staying home on others.

I am divorced/single father of two children (13yr boy and 9yr girl), who will be living with their mother in Louisiana starting in June. Their moving will be leaving me with a lot of extra time on my hands, so finding someone to help fill the space will be a good thing.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a father of two and I try to do as much with them when I can. I also work as a surveillance manager at a card-room casino, which most days I enjoy.
I’m really good at
at word searches and finding misspelled words, even if I don't know how to spell it (I'm a horrible speller). lol

I'm also pretty good at fixing most things and working with my hands.

I've been told that I make a great Cajun shrimp dish (with rice), which I make as often as I can.
The first things people usually notice about me
are my eyes and my height (usually always asking me if I play basketball).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like a lot of Sci-Fi books when I actually read books, I also like Stephen King books/short stories. Some of my favorites are; The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy (I'm still meaning to pick up Mostly Harmless), The Stand, It, The Princess Bride, Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies.

Also, even though I am 37, I still like to read comic books (the art and most of the writing is very well done these days - I know I'm a geek for this).

I like different kinds of movies, there really isn't one genre that I prefer. Some of my favorites are; Star Wars (I like them all - even the prequels), most of the Star Trek movies, most of the Vin Diesel movies, all of the M. Night Shyamalan movies, Rocky Horror Picture Show, 28 Days Later, Monty Python's Meaning of Life.

Some of my favorite T.V. shows are: (Current) The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, The Newsroom, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, Game Of Thrones and Real Time with Bill Maher. (Past) The 4400, The Dead Zone, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Angel, Star Trek (all versions but Enterprise), House, Fringe, Eureka and the Stargate franchise.

I mostly listen to 70's and 80's rock with some Country mixed in, but I'm not too big on rap or techno music.

I like all kinds of food but I really like seafood (except squid... nasty stuff), pasta, steaks and bacon... Bacon makes everything better.
The six things I could never do without
Although, most on this list I could do without if needed (exception of the first three) I'd prefer to not do without these in no particular order; my kids, my friends, family, my cell phone (I hate that I'm saying that), my DVR/Netflix (I can't stand commercials and I hate saying this also). More to come...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
A lot of things that I probably shouldn't be. My mind wanders a lot, especially when I'm alone, bored or depressed.
On a typical Friday night I am
It used to be picking up my kids for our weekend, however come June, my Friday nights will be free. I'm going to have to find something to do now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I talk to myself. I had a teacher in high school that said it's perfectly normal to talk to yourself, it's only a problem when you begin to argue with yourself.

I'm also a depressant.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 26–44
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
You enjoy comic books, wanting to hang out, know why a yellow crayon saved the world, know the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything or just wanting to have a friend (I'm a great listener).
