My self-summary
I really like to tinker with things to make them better, or just to see how they work. Learning in general I something I enjoy and hope to continue doing throughout my life.

Personality-wise, I’m fairly quiet but amicable. Even if I’m not the most talkative, I enjoy being around people.

But don’t take my word for it!
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I work at IBM, writing code to store and access huge amounts of information. I plan to either work for or create my own start-up at some point.
I’m really good at
Explaining overly complex board games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've got a nose for daaaaays
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like books that closely resemble bricks. Pynchon, Vonnegut, Gaddis, Borges, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Godel, Escher, Bach are favorites.

Daft Punk, Girl Talk, Death Grips, Aesop Rock, Wu-Tang Clan. Electric Light Orchestra is the best.

Mr. Show, Moral Orel, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, China, IL, Rick and Morty.

Too many, but especially film noir and weird movies. Brick, Le Samourai, Pi, Moon, 5 cm/s, The Killing, The Holy Mountain, most everything by the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, and Charlie Kaufmann.

Chicken Tikka Masala is really the only dish I need.
The six things I could never do without
Overhopped beers, mechanical pencils, engineering paper, cats, kittens, cats that are that midway point between adults and kittens
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Energy. Everything we do comes down to the production and consumption of energy, be it mechanical or biological. If I had some stipend to live on, tackling the question of mapping energy usage across everything we do would be what I would work on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If Linkin Park’s Points of Authority comes on the radio, I will sing it with little to no shame
You should message me if
You'd like to spend more time watching weird movies at the Loft.
