My self-summary
I'm a pretty laid-back gal, and I try to not take life too seriously. I'm always open to new experiences and meeting new people. I have a fairly inappropriate sense of humor and a dirty mind which gets me in trouble a lot.

I'm a total film snob, but I'm a sucker for musicals and 80s action flicks. I love the blues and rockabilly. I take Halloween very seriously. My favorite color is green. I'm fearless and always up for a challenge.
What I’m doing with my life
Still trying to figure that out, but I'm getting closer. I've got a degree in film, and I'm working on one in music business. I'm currently working at a coffee shop; been in the coffee biz for about 8 years, but I'm itching to get out.

I'm also ready to start settling down and get a bit more serious about this whole adulthood thing. I'm well past my party girl days, though that's not to say I don't still enjoy a good time.
I’m really good at
Putting furniture from Ikea together.
Knitting.
Being nice.
Crossing the street all by myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair, my height and my laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I wish I had more time to read. I love Cormac McCarthy's style and stuff like Jane Austen and the Brontes. I'm trying to read more biographies, too. Just finished one on Led Zeppelin which was awesome.

Movies: The Bourne movies, even the new one with Jeremy Renner. Singing In The Rain, On The Town, Easter Parade. The Social Network and Drive are brilliant, and The Avengers was probably my favorite movie of last year. Martha Marcy May Marlene is probably the best film I've seen lately. That's a pretty good sampling of my taste.

TV: Just getting back into watching TV, and I'm not sure it's a good thing. Doctor Who's something I always keep up on. I really enjoy Game of Thrones too. I love both Sherlock and Elementary, and refuse to choose between the two.

Music: I love our local scene, lots of amazing acts around here. Anything Jack White's been a part of. The Animals, The Zombies and most other stuff from that era, plus earlier rock and roll. Newer stuff: I'm in love with Alt-J and Jake Bugg and Chvrches. Found a new love in The Harpoonist and The Axe Murderer (best name ever), blues duo out of Canada.

Food: Food.

On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly, at home knitting. I work super early Saturday mornings, so my Friday nights don't really exist. I like Tuesday nights better.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read the first three Twilight books. They were awful.

you want to watch old movies. Or any movies. But I will actually want to watch them, I'm hardwired to pay attention when a movie's on.
you want to drink good beer and rock out. And I mean like super snobby craft beer that was brewed in some dude's basement and bottled last week.
you wanna find a dive bar and play some pool. I'm pretty terrible but I love it.
you wanna play scrabble. I know lots of big words.
