I wish I could say I was an astronaut or that I invented flying cars (or even drive one - science is letting me down on that one), but I guess I'm kind of ordinary - in a totally awesome you would want to date me kind of way. Seriously, what are the odds the odds of being an astronaut anyway?

In my highly biased opinion I'm a pretty good guy. I can be a little picky but I am looking for something serious if it comes my way. I'm slightly introverted so I wouldn't consider myself a socialite, but I am genuine, charming, loyal, and intelligent. I'm also very active so I like a girl who can keep up.

Mountain biking everywhere, learning self defense, practicing mindfulness and trying to meditate, planning my trip to Greece and Italy (but trying not to over plan), trying to find an awesome job in San Francisco, and catching up on movies from the last few years.

Other then that I'm enjoying my new neighborhood, seeing live music, dining out (way too often) and enjoying the city life.

Yeah, yeah I know you hate math, but I'm freakishly good at crunching numbers. Also card games, brewing, puzzles, parallel parking, and sleeping on the BART without missing my stop.

I feel like this is one of those questions where people just make stuff up. Honestly, I have no idea what people notice about me first and they probably don't either. Hypothetically, though, if I was someone else, I think the first thing I would notice about myself would be my eyes.

Books: Crime and Punishment, Life of Pi, The Wind Up Bird Chronicle, Catch 22, Everything by John Krakaeur, Godel Escher Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid, Lord of the Rings, Through the Looking Glass, and Grendel.

Movies/TV: Christopher Nolan Batman, Studio Ghibli, 2001, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Godfather, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Star Wars, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. My favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Lost, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mr. Show, The Wire, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Louie.

Music: I'm a total music geek and always listening to new stuff. My favorite band of all time is probably Pavement. Other favorites are Sonic Youth, R.E.M., Mclusky, Arcade Fire, Deerhunter, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Velvet Underground, and Spoon to name a few.

Food: I love spicy food especially Thai, Indian, and Burmese. I've learned that I really can't go wrong with Asian food. Sometimes nothing beats a good burger though. I really like sushi too but I'm giving it up. I feel too guilty to indulge given the state of the oceans today.

Family, music, chili peppers, good beer, mountains, and curiosity.

Traveling, relationships, undiscovered critters, numbers, alien worlds, technology, sports, not thinking about stuff, and bands I will listen to next.

Seeing a live show, enjoying a good beer with friends, trying a new restaurant, exploring the city, playing poker, or relaxing at home with a good book or movie.

Making the bed seems like a colossal waste of time. I never do it and I always half-assed it growing up.
