I am friendly, very Midwestern, and bad at 3 word blurbs.

My Self-Summary

I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs but have been out in the Bay Area for the last 5 years (first doing college and then working). Now I'm back in school again studying Medicine at UCSF.
I live in the Haight and am happy to have finally made the move into the city. I usually study pretty hard during the week, but enjoy cooking and watching Glee. Lately, on the weekends, I've been going out to the Castro. It's a fun time, but I would like to do more to take advantage of culture in SF and the nature just outside.

What I’m doing with my life

School.

I’m really good at

Baking cookies. Cooking panang curry. Sunday Brunch.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: The National, Metric, Thao Nguyen, Cat Stevens
For reasonable movies, I like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Milk, Harold and Maude, Finding Nemo.
For the bad excessively queen-ey movies I like Twilight and Were the World Mine.
Food: I like everything.

The six things I could never do without

Food and sleep and friends and family.
I lead a very simple life.
It would also suck to go without sex and chocolate and my very comfortable bed and my cell phone, but I think I could do it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Medicine. I know my thoughts bore me at times, but there you have it I'm kind of required to think about it.

On a typical Friday night I am

Drinking and going out to the Castro, but I am hoping to expand this with more fun events. Just went to the Kabuki theatre for the first time and am hoping to see Get Mortified when it comes to SF this December.
