My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm awkward, kinda funny, very nice, and good smelling.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I worked in the music industry for about eight years, and now I'm focusing on being a freelance songwriter, musician and performer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing with dogs, making eggs, losing track of time because I'm playing my keyboard, karaoke, cleaning, lookin' fly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, eyes, hair, maybe my skinny jeans. Who knows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I need to read more. I tend to read biographies, and humor related books. I'm not much of a mystery or on-going series kinda guy (basically I'm not into The Hunger Games or the Davinci Code).

As for movies, I enjoy good comedies (Christopher Guest movies are a plus), scary movies that aren't about Satan (I can't handle that shit, man), and action is cool. But when I say action I don't mean movies starring Jason Statham. Batman movies are my favorite thing in the world.

I watch a lot of news (CNN, MSNBC, not Fox), as well as most NBC comedies. 30 Rock and SNL are my favorite shows of all time. I say I hate trashy reality shows, but I do find myself watching them from time to time. I also love Palladia but I feel like no one else knows what that channel is. I don't watch Mad Men and True Blood. I have nothing against them, I just know I'd get sucked into them and I procrastinate enough as it is. Also Portlandia makes me happy.

I love music. I know everyone says "Music is my life" and other BS, but it really kinda is to me. I listen to most kinds of music, except for modern country. If you're a genuine fan of Brad Paisley we probably won't work. My favorite artists include Tori Amos, the Stones, Bowie, Scissor Sisters, Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks, Regina Spektor, Smashing Pumpkins, Arcade Fire, Jack White, Elton, etc. But I'll listen to most anything.

I love most foods. Mexican might be my favorite. I can eat pretty much anything except sushi (sorry I try it about once a year and I can't get into it).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iPhone, chapstick, keyboard, computer, my comfy bed, and my friends (awww).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future, my friends and family. Also nachos.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing, cooking, at the gym, playing music, getting ready to go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You smell good, are clean, aren't obnoxious and loud, likes good music (you've actually bought a CD before and haven't only downloaded it illegally your whole life), take pride in your appearance but aren't obsessed with it. Having a cool dog is a plus.
