I was in the airport after spending the day coming back from traveling and happened to overhear a guy talking on his cell phone. He was upset because the car he had hired left him stranded at the airport because his flight was delayed. He was the best man at his best friends wedding the next day and was missing the bachelor party. I drove him over 100 miles to make it relatively on time. I suppose that's the kind of person I am.

Outside giving strangers rides I am passionate about neuroscience, I studied psychology and biomedical engineering in school. I love to paint, snowboard and try new things. The next thing on my list is learning to Salsa.

I am currently done with the application process for Grad School hopefully to get my PhD- I will know in March. I work a full time job in sales and I am in the process of getting 501(c) 3 status for a non-profit I have recently started. I hope to eventually teach at the collegiate level and do research or start a company. I also hope to have a family some day but probably after Grad School.

Books: I read a ton but I am particularly fond of Glen Cook, Ayn Rand, Sun Tzu, Jack Campbell, Milan Kundera, John Steinbeck, George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, Issac Asimov, Jane Austen, Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman... and probably several dozen more to be on the conservative side.
Movies: I like pretty much any movies. I'm a fan of Pixar but really I will watch just about anything. Bad Kung Fu.

TV: Firefly, Better off Ted, Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, a few others.

Music:eclectic ... It depends on what I am doing and mood. I find myself listening to: Classic, Blues, and Rock (not classic rock so much) but really anything any time is fine. My family listened to "old time radio programs" when I was young and I still like those. I love anything with violin and hope to learn some day.

Food: I will try any food at least once.
