My self-summary Propose an edit
I like indie movies that most people haven't heard of. I drink
wine, preferably Pinot Noir. I end sentences with prepositions. I'm
not really into sports, but I like the Utah Jazz. I play pool
because I like the sounds the balls make when they hit each other.
I'm attracted to intelligent men, but I'm afraid I appear ignorant
to them. Singing Mozart in a choir makes me giddy. I like to be
independent, but I have no desire to change the oil in my car. I
like people or activities that make me look at the world in a
different way. I drink way too much coffee, chai and other
caffeinated beverages. I have a penchant for pigtails. I love the
word 'facetious'. I'm a free spirit rooted in reality.
The guy I'm looking for:
You are comfortable in your own skin. You realize that you have
issues, but you know how to manage them. You value intelligence in
yourself and the people around you, but don't come off as an
intellectual snob either. You enjoy being challenged by the people
in your life. You generally see the world as a great place to be
and enjoy experiencing life. You know the value of a good
friend.
Ok, enough fluff. On to the ugly truths:
-I'm vegetarian, but I don't care if my partner eats meat (as long
as you don't harass me about not eating it.)
-I am a militant non-smoker. If you smoke, you should be prepared
to quit.
-I'm 99.9% sure I do not want children. I do not hate children,
just don't aspire to procreation as a means to 'leave a legacy' or
to satisfy my family.
-I'm undecided as to what kind of step parent I might make. It
really depends on the individual situation.
-My cats (I have 2) are my children and I will not get rid of them
for anyone.
-I'm staunchly against illegal drug use. I will not tolerate it in
my close relationships.
-I loathe, detest, and vehemently hate being lied to. I'd much
rather deal with an ugly truth than a pretty lie.
-I am NOT interested in cyber sex or one-night-stands. If thats
what you are looking for, please go away now.
-If you aren't within the ages of 25 to 38 I will not reply. Sorry!
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm currently working on buying my own home. It might not happen
right away, but I'm certain it will eventually.
I currently work as a receptionist. While I don't hate my job, I
don't aspire to stay in the position forever. I'm toying with the
idea of going back to school, possibly to become a Vet Tech or a
Nutritionist.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
I'm very outgoing and expressive. I rarely hold things back. If I
like you, you'll know it. You'll know if I don't as well. I'm
tenacious. When I set my mind to something, I do it. Doesn't matter
how long it takes, I will achieve it. I like to get into drawn-out
discussions about anything and everything. Fragmented conversations
that start out about Star Wars and end with a discussion
regarding social conditioning and philosophy.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Favorite bands include Garbage, The Eels, The Killers and
Evanescence. Foods-I'm vegetarian, so no meat of course. I love
Italian and Mexican though. I try to keep my diet healthy, so lots
of fresh fruits and veggies. I also love wine.

Whether the plural of pegasus is pegasi or pegasuses. Ok, I know
that in Greek mythology there was only one Pegasus. But what if
there were more?!?
