I am a home grown tarheel, who grew up in the triad.

I still believe in opening doors for a lady, giving up my seat on a bus, women and children first, holding hands, giving flowers for no other reason than romance.

I work for myself as a computer consultant managing computer systems for small businesses. I like my job, not because I'm so much a "geek", but because it is an ever changing industry and never boring. I also get to help people on a daily basis to make their lives easier.

Beyond work, I like to think of myself as someone who is always interested in new things and am willing to try most anything.
For example, I have traveled to Europe, South America, Japan, and most of the US. I have tried scuba diving, skydiving, ran in a 5K, plus am a 2nd degree black belt in tae kwon do. I have even eaten escargot!
I enjoy most sports, especially golf and tennis.
My new interest is dancing!
Taking classes in shag, cha cha, and salsa.

I'm fairly outgoing and find it very easy to talk to people, and make friends.
I am a pretty easy going guy. Very slow to anger and quick to forgive. I normally look for the best in people and situations. I think this has helped me to adjust to the dips and curves of life. I am a "glass is half full", "the sun is coming up" kind of person, and would love to find someone with the same type of approach to life.
