My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a very outgoing and energetic person who really enjoys the company of his friends and finding new and amazing experiences. I find most of my happiness in my close friends, even when we aren't doing anything too fantastic, but especially when we are. I find the rest by taking every advantage and opportunity I can. I really enjoy hiking and camping and other outdoorsy things. I spend a lot of time snowboarding and rock climbing depending on the seasons, but also enjoy swimming at the beach and in the river, finding rope swings and waterfalls, and traveling whenever/wherever possible. I like to climb mountains, or anything on an impulse, and am quick to pull over when traveling to explore. I recently spent six weeks in the Balkans. Did everything from checking out the history to swimming from Asia to Europe. Being a teacher I like to travel as much as possible during the summer months and sneaking away (shush!) whenever a well placed sick or personal day allows. I teach high school history, government, and economics and coach swimming outside the city, but I have been living in the city for 10 years. I got into teaching after studying history and I really enjoy the subject and sharing that with students (sometimes to their chagrin, other times not). It is one of my favorite things to talk about and share especially with guests or couch surfers, to the point where i constantly consider getting a side job giving tours of the city. My friends may say I talk to much sometimes, but I really just love a good discussion and debate on just about any topic. When I'm relaxing I enjoy hammocks, NPR, Crosswords, a good movie, playing guitar poorly, reading, taking baths, or exploring somewhere nearby I have never been. My favorite places to relax in the city are by the wissahickon, the old coal piers on the Delaware, and some quiet places in some of the cities pocket parks. If I had to sum myself up though, I'd say I'm adventurous, outgoing, loyal, a good friend, and someone who just looks for passion and excitement in their life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I enjoy my job, but what I value most are my friends and filling my life with as many travels, experiences, and stories. I spend my working hours sharing my love of history as best I can. But I really live for what comes after the work day (Climbing, snowboarding, traveling, stage diving, rope swings, the ocean, the river, the mountains, basement shows, meals with friends). I try to spend my summers outdoors, hiking, climbing, and traveling; my winters snowboarding; and every other moment with as much adventure, music, friendship, and knowledge as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Jumping off things, accepting dares, taking risks, knowing excessive/useless information, acting like a tour guide, Crosswords until thursday, being spontaneous, traveling without planning, being on time and playing vintage baseball
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll accept just about any challenge

You don't sleep away your weekend mornings or you enjoy getting outside. I am always looking for new people to hike, climb, snowboard, and bike around with. But reach out if you wanna do anything from play scrabble, to explore abandoned parts of the city, get brunch, get really into karaoke, get your fill of history, find out what the hell vintage baseball is, head to a show, play with fireworks, or watch good/bad movies. And there is always the cup of coffee, a drink, or a meal...
