A naive cynic who's confused, lol!

Don't like closed minded people, I enjoy anything active (climbing, footie, boxing, hill walking etc) but am quite happy sitting around in the sun, or the rain as it's Scotland!

If you want to surprise me DON'T dress up as a clown and jump out of a cupboard, i won't appreciate it, even if it's the thought that counts!

What I’m doing with my life

Bored at the moment, tore a cartilage playing football so recuperation (sitting around and walking slowly, lol) is what's happening. Looking after an ageing 3 legged dog, so my scope for travel has been very limited the last few years as he suffers seperation anxiety when i'm not around for more than a few hours. :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Autobiographies i find interesting, Tom Sharpe, Catch-22 , anything on the Spanish Civil War for politics and history, the occasional sci fi book, Orwell, Eco, Chomsky and, living in Edinburgh, Irvine Welsh.

Movies- anything unusual.............which i suppose is the kinda thing most folk write.........which makes it usual!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm... anyway, a wide range, from British B & W classics right through to Spanish subtitled horror, Ken Loach, Mike Leigh, David Lynch, Cohen brothers!!

Music - Anything but Jazz, R & B and techno (after spending a few years in the early 90's in a flat with a raving e head, lol!

Food - Indian and East African, anything vegan
