I am here to have some fun times exploring the city because let's face it there are plenty of adventures to be had in this fair city of ours. And perhaps we'll find someone amazing special on this site but let's first start out with a great conversation and a small New York City adventure with a fun gal. That where I come in.

Me. What to say. I have a fine wit. I love to laugh. I'm very laid back. I have a right amount of sass, lots of moxie but I'm mostly sweet. I have the unique ability to make friends easily and enjoy getting to know people. I like to find the small beauty in things. I love food. So I enjoy trying new restaurants and cooking at home. I am a big fan of music so I am very at home at concerts. I like all music my Ipod is all over the place in the best way. I am a big fan of art so I like going to the museum and galleries. I love being outdoors, like hiking and being at the park or beach. I love to watch a film out or at home. I love learning about new things about the world I don't know. There are tons of places I'd love to travel. Maybe you'd be interested in joining me on some of these outings or suggesting on of you own.

I just finished grad school and now I'm trying to get a better job in the museum arts field.

I smile easy. That I have the ability to notice unique things. My wit. That I study things and always what to learn more.

MUSIC: A little bit country: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Neko Case, Langhorne Slim. And a LOT of rock and roll: Beck, Rolling Stones over Beatles, David Bowie, Pixies, Ryan Adams, PJ Harvey, Elvis, Jeff Buckley, Jenny Lewis. TV: MadMen!! 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, Blah. (PBS (American Experience), Mythbusters, The Office) BOOKS: Anything by Poe, Shakespeare or Haruki Murakami. Playwrights: Adore Sam Shepard and Tennesse Williams [Hot Cat on Tin Roof-ish stuff. Modern: House of Leaves, Arthur Nersesian, Orhan Pamuk, Chuck Palahniuk, Donna Tart, Nick Hornby, The Russian Debutante's Handbook (Gary Shteyngart). My "classics": Moll Flanders (Defoe), Proust, Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, Jack Kerouac, F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, Harper Lee. Music: Johnny Cash by Johnny Cash, Coal Miner's Daughter (Loretta Lynn). Children's Books: The Red Balloon, Le Petit Prince. Poets: Wislawa Szymborska, William Blake, John Keats, W. B. Yeats, T. S. Eliot. Graphic Novels: Persepolis (Marjane Satrapi), Owly (Andy Runton), I Love Led Zeppelin (Ellen Forney), Maus (Art Spiegelman). AND WELL FOOD ... I'm game for trying all things but I love Indian, Italian, French cooking and sushi.
