What I’m doing with my life
I spend my nine-to-five working in public policy and politics. I've mostly worked on education and environmental policy for various local, state, and federal officials. Just trying to make our system a smidgen more equitable.

Outside of work I like to fill my life with all the glorious small things that end up being pretty darn important: brunch, exploring the outdoors, baking and eating pies, nerding out on policy memos, watching ample west wing, pumpkin month at trader joe's, planning over-the-top parties, free coffee refills at diners, long conversations with friends at my favorite pub, being silly with my little cousins, finding the steepest hills to roll down, climbing things, finding new recipes, etc.

I like having dreams and making them realities. On that note, you should know that I'm currently in the middle of a year-long world tour. I quit my job to travel the world (europe, asia, africa, australia, south america) for a year. I loved my job, but I also wanted to do this. I'm not a hippy or anything. I'm not lost, or trying to find myself, or looking for the meaning of life. Just wanted a big adventure. I plan on being gainfully employed again when I get back to the Bay.

I like living my life like a dreamer. Life's pretty sweet and there's a lot of time in the day to do it all. So why not?
I’m really good at
Making crepes.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to maximize my policy impact, why girls shave half their head, my future coffee shop bookstore, why drinks at airport bars are so satisfying, what life would be like if i'd gone to culinary school, how to scam my cousins into revealing their secret santa names to me for the fourth straight year.
On a typical Friday night I am
sipping a stout with friends, trying a new place in elmwood, or game night at home with the gang.

I'm generally attracted to warmth, intelligence, and people who aren't afraid to be a little light-hearted. But hey, you never know. One time, I had a pretty big crush on a republican.
