I am several different people depending on what you are talking about. My career persona is different from my social persona. I take a while to get to know because, I not that type of person who talks endless about myself.

I was told and learn early on how to judge people, it was great advice and still use it today.
One of the best ways to judge someone's character is to watch how they treat people who can't do anything for them. If they treat people who can't do anything for them like dirt, then you're dealing with a lowbrow, user. Someone who is in it for themselves and will burn through people. If you find someone who treats them like a real person, you have found a real gem.

My Question is are the "Gems" out there or in here?
(Yes, i know the answer is yes, its just how hard are they to find?).

I'm active guy who is really a Seattle native. I can be found doing something most of time. I am not one of those people who can sit on the blanket on the beach or by the pool. I would be the person walking the beach or out fishing.

I like to play golf and fish when the weather is nice.

When the weather is not so nice. I like to bowl and work on digital photography. I like to travel south to Arizona to play golf when its been raining 2 months here in Seattle. I work on computers so I spend a lot of time on them for work and for play as well.

I have a good sense of humor and I don't take myself too seriously. Laugher is the best medicine.

I am pretty much an open book. I will tell people most everything about me once I get to know you. However, I'm not the guy at the party who is telling everyone where i went on my last business or vacation trip. But if you ask,I'll tell you all about it. :-)

So, is there a woman out there, there is looking for a partner in crime. A sense of humor is mandatory. The ability to let go and have fun as well have a serious side would be nice to haves. I don't smoke or hardly ever drink so if you are a excess complusive on either of those. We probably aren't going to be a match.

So, I like kids but I don't have any of mine own. Now that I am 46 years old, I am thinking I am probably too old to be trying to have a baby with someone. If you already have kids I am okay with that.

Nov 10th update:
I am on a 13 day European tour. I am going to be working in Amsterdam until the 17th, then Frankfurt. After Frankfurt, I come back to Amsterdam for a day for a meeting then I got to Brussels for two days. Back to Amsterdam and then I fly home...
(Anyone have good suggestions for restaurants or places to stay? Good pointers gladly accepted.)

Let's see, I am busy with work. Now its spring time in the NW. Its time for a road time to somewhere. Get in the car, crank the tunes and drive...

I like taking enough time to relax, travel and see friends. Its important to take time see and do things. It the journey not the goal that is important..

The winter time, i like to go down to Arizona and play golf and relax when it showering all day and evenings here in Seattle. I have friends in Florida so that is another destination location.

I like to make quick weekend trips to Las Vegas to go out to dinner and hang out. When I have more time, I go down to Florida to visit friends and go down the keys and chill out.

Other things I do around here. My friends and I make quick trips over to Hoodsport to go camping, fishing and play on the lake where it isn't as crowded as it is around here.

The "Settle down" comemnt:
Some people thing its time to "Settle down " or will say that. I am so against that phrase. Just because, I am single and never married doesn't mean that I am not settled. I own my house, car and other things. I bought my house when i was 28 years old. Having a mom who lived through world war II outside the USA, she didn't believe in collecting a lot of debt. She passed that down to her kids.

The other bad way of using Settling. I don't believe, someone should just settle for someone who fatality flawed.

:-) Given that, its not that I wouldn't want to find someone to walk the path of life. Its making sure you and the other person has some of the same life quality attributes are compatibile with each other.

Big surpise people, I'm a pretty good cook. I worked in restuarnts while going to college and my parents gave me some good advice. "Learn to cook the foods you like, you're probably not going to find someone for you..". I did that :-)

I am really good bowler and fishing for salmon. About 15 years ago, I bowled a 300 game in leagues. I've won several bowling tournmanents but i don't bowl them any more.

I am a pretty good at photography and have won several national awards. I like to travel for work and leisure.

I'm a problem solver that what I do for a living figuring out how to do what hasn't been done before.

I am invisible. I blend into the background. When I was a serious photographer that worked really well. These days, I don't need to be center of attention. I like to get the table sit down, drink my ice tea or water and people watch.

Actually, Most people thing I am X, where X is (Hawaiian, Mexican, some indiana tribe from washington or arizona, or some other asain decent).

If you catch me in a meeting i'll be the guy spitting out the numbers, facts figures and how long it will take to do something.

how to design new things. i design and develop new software and hardware sytems for computers. I'm a problem solver for work. Then I fiqure out what can go wrong with it and fix it before it happens in real life.

When i'm not working, i'm thinking of what is the next fun thing for me to go and do... (just ask)..

but fishing and the next place to go golfing come to mind..

I work late until about 6:30 to avoid the traffic. Go home, then out to dinner with friends we go out for mexican or other types of restaurants. Back home by 10:30 so I can catch up with episodes of series on SciFi channel.

I have been up on stage a couple of times in front of several hundred to a couple thousand of people singing and performing. I guess you'll call it a karaoke nightmare.
