I am laid back, low-key, and fun.
My Self-Summary
Well, I'm currently going to SIUC to study accounting. I'm a pretty
easy going guy and I like to think that I'm down to earth. I love
being with my friends even if it's just sitting around doing not
much of anything. I'm really into sports. I play golf regularly and
racquetball pretty often but I'm always game for some basketball,
softball, football, or pretty much any other sport.
Some Things About Me:
--I love dogs. Getting to pet one for a while makes my day.
--I like to cook.
--I just graduated from SIUC with my bachelor's degree.
--I like to drive.
--I have a geeky side. I still own an original Nintendo and Super
Nintendo and play them every now and then.
--I love movies and own a ton of them.
--I like trying new things and want to go skydiving or
bungie-jumping sometime soon.
--I have a thing for good smelling stuff. My apartment has a lot of
candles, a scented oil-burner, and lots of different house spray
things from Bath and Body Works.
--I like having options in life, especially in the little things. I
have lots of different scented candles because maybe one day I want
my apartment to smell like vanilla but the next I want it to smell
like coconut. Options are nice.
--I'm sarcastic. A lot of the time.
--I don't really fit into a specific group. I have a wide range of
friends from geeky to hardcore party types. I'm pretty adaptable to
situations and people.
--I can be a little bit shy at first. I don't usually make the
first move (read: I probably won't send a message to you first).
After I get to know people I open up pretty quickly.
--I like to cuddle.
--I like to read for fun. Dean Koontz is pretty much my favorite
author. I also like Dan Brown and his books. The Harry Potter
series is great and I've read it multiple times.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently going to grad school at SIUC to get my Masters of
Accountancy degree. If things go according to plan, I'll be done in
May 2010 and then I'll be off to St. Louis to start my career at a
well respected public accounting firm. That's the plan
anyways.
Whenever I'm not doing the work or school thing, I do the whole
social-life thing. I enjoy going out to the bars or hanging out
with my friends on the weekends. The nice thing about my schedule
is that the weekend starts Thursday night.
I’m really good at
sports, cooking, listening, and school. Basically things that I
either love to do (sports and cooking) or things that I end up
doing a lot (listening and school). If I want to learn how to do it
or take an interest in it, I'll eventually get really good at it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I usually get complemented on my smile or my eyes first, so I'll go
with those. I have a lot of shorter friends and they usually
comment on how I'm tall.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
1) All the Harry Potter books, the Golden Compass series, anything
by Dean Koontz
2) Boondock Saints, Tommy Boy, Superbad, Hitch, tons more. I have
two DVD cabinets full of movies. I give a lot of different movies a
chance.
3) Seether, Shinedown, The Fray, Blue October, Papa Roach, Matt
Nathanson, Ernie Halter, Bascom Hill, All American Rejects, Dierks
Bentley, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Frank Sinatra.
Again, there's tons more. My 60 gb iPod is full of music. I give a
lot of different kinds of music a chance too. I'm pretty open to
new music. You never know if you're going to like it or not until
you give it that chance.
4) Italian, BBQ, Sushi. I'm willing to try pretty much any food.
I'm a huge fan of good food, fancy or not. The Food Network is on
my TV a lot.
The six things I could never do without
1) Computer/Internet - pretty much endless amounts of time-wasting
fun
2) Blackberry - lets me stay connected to pretty much
everything
3) Good Friends - always there for me
4) Laughter - without laughter, life wouldn't be the same
5) Sports - I have a slightly competitive side and I love watching
them
6) My Car - I love my car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Future endeavors. Where I'll end up, at the very least for the
beginning of my career, if I feel especially day-dreamy I'll wonder
about where I'll end up later on. I also think about how everything
works out in life and where I've been.
On a typical Friday night I am
80% chance I'll be at a bar. The other 20%? I'll be at a friend's
place or mine for a little party. Friday nights are always social
nights. I have the rest of the week to take it easy and relax at
home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My name is Brad.
You should message me if
You like what you've read or what you see. If you want to know
more, or if you'd like to!
Here's a tip: if you message me or IM me, don't sound creepy.
Pretty common sense, but yet it happens more often than it really
should.
