I am Brian, I grew up in Palo Alto, went to Gunn High School, then Carnegie Mellon University for a degree in Information Systems and Computer Science, and now work at a big company in the South Bay and just moved into my own place in San Jose, which is exciting.

Books: I love John Feinstein books, and a lot of sports books in general. I haven't had as much time to read as I'd like, and when I traveled across the country a lot for school I read thrillers, like Dean Koontz or Stephen King, but didn't read much as deep as I'd like. I'll keep you posted as I get to read more.

Movies: Comedies and Drama, not a big horror fan. Some movies I've seen that I really like: Office Space, Happy Gilmore, Tin Cup, Caddyshack, Enchanted, District 9, Up, Superbad, Adventureland, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You Man, Dark Knight.

Music: Classic Rock, Progressive and Alternative - The Who, The Beatles (just got their Rock Band Game, and I love it), Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Rush, Muse, Green Day, Third Eye Blind. I also have a soft spot for Musicals and Showtunes, Disney movies, Avenue Q, Les Miz, Suessical, I love you, you're perfect, now change.

1) My little brother and sister. They are my favorite people in the world and I love them to death.
2) My Computer, it's how I make this money
3) My Golf Clubs, it's a great sport to be competitive about, and I love the peacefulness and beauty that you can see on a golf course.
4) My brain, I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't think critically and deeply.
5) Food and water and other things to survive (notably, candy).
6) Music, it can make me feel a full range of emotions, from upbeat to sad to excited to laid back.
