If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be jovial. I'm
quick to smile, quick to laugh, and I find humor in about
everything. I love to spread that good feeling to other people. I
like playing games (video, board, word, what have you), especially
with new people. It's a fun way to get introduced. I like going to
new restaurants (that's how I found Maido, my favorite sushi shop
in Louisville) and trying and learning new things. I love
developing new skills.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a computer nerd, and pretty good at it. I just started a
programming job and I'm loving it so far. It's like solving logic
puzzles and getting paid for it.
I just moved to Indianapolis and I'm trying to get acquainted with
the city. Got a studio apartment all to myself and now I'm teaching
myself how to cook again.
I’m really good at
Computers, first and foremost. I'm also a pretty good cook and
baker. My homemade bread is delicious. I can drive a stick shift. I
know how to get all but one peg gone from that triangle puzzle at
Cracker Barrel. I'm a logical thinker, and I love to tackle,
dissect, and solve problems. And puzzles, love me a good puzzle.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. People love the soft curls, and I'm perfectly fine with

Just about everything, but I really enjoy Classic Rock,
Electronica, and Post Rock. If I had to narrow it down to a few of
my favorite bands, I'd say...
Five Iron Frenzy

(post rock), Fever Ray
(I don't even know how to describe
Steak and a baked potato (the American staple), sushi, fresh bread
(of nearly any type), STRAWBERRIES
The six things I could never do without
- My car, for business and pleasure (joyrides are the best)
- Rivalry, because nothing makes me enjoy bettering myself more
than friendly competition
- My smart phone, because I have no idea what I did without the
internet in the palm of my hand
- Free time! I live for free time, not work.
- Background noise, because I hate doing anything in silence
- A book to read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to do when I get off work. What it means for a game to be fun.
What to do next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually hanging out with some friends, playing games and cracking
jokes. Or joyriding, if the weather is nice. A night drive is a
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my eyes has such horrible vision that the other picks up the
slack and dominates my sense of sight. This has the side-effect of
making me a little clumsy due to lack of depth perception.
You should message me if
...you know a cool local restaurant to enjoy
...you like watching and making fun of bad movies
...you like taking joyrides and trying to get lost while having
conversations of varying pointlessness
...you'd like to enjoy a delicious local beer at a pub.
