Although not a fan of self adulation or even self-description, I am advised that indulging in same, at least to some extent, is a necessary evil in this process.
So with that in mind, I'll start with the clichés- single, active, professional male, with an offbeat (sometimes off colour) sense of humour.
Now, some randomly obscure facts- I make cookies, run fast, routinely take more pictures than I could ever hope to organize, and am a bit of a spelling and grammar nazi.
Finally, a few interests- I read mostly non-fiction, rarely miss the Daily Show or Colbert Report, occasionally suffer from Scrabble addiction, and can be transfixed by a great documentary.

Making two letter words at Scrabble, making cookies from scratch (although a recent experience has me doubting this skill), following directions, reading people about whom I feel indifferent, minesweeper, turning a double play, folding fitted sheets, knowing how to evoke an emotional response from someone.

I can be somewhat reserved when meeting new people (particularly those I find interesting or intriguing)- until I reach a comfort level and figure what I can get away with and what I can't. I then morph into something of a motor mouth.
