I am warm, friendly, and happy.

My Self-Summary

Coffee or Chai Tea is required every morning for a full functioning me.

I have five total ear piercings total.

After this school year, I will have a M.S. in Elementary Education.

I already have a BA in Geography. And no, that does not necessarily mean that I will be teaching my students geography. Also, if you don't know what a degree in Geography entails, don't assume it is just about where things are in the world. Because it isn't.

I knit, needle point, crochet (poorly), and swing dance.

Please be aware that I am not exaggerating when I say that when I find something funny (especially at a movie or play) I laugh. Loudly. This is one of many ways my happy good natured side shows itself.

I am someone who is emotional and I don't hide it that well. If I am upset or happy about something, I show it. That being said, it sometimes takes me a while to figure out that I am mad or why I am mad. I also have a hard time articulating myself if I am worked up over something.

Being a strong, independent woman is very important to me. One of my hero's is Harriet Tubman. I also have a deep respect for all of the women who fought for women suffrage. Interesting tidbit of information: The 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution granting women the right to vote was passed on August 26, 1920. Women have been able to vote in the United States for just shy of 90 years. The United States has been a country for just over 230 years.

One of my many plans in life is to live (and teach) in the Outer Banks (in North Carolina...) and Hawaii. One goal of mine that fits well into this plan is that I want to learn how to surf. I already know how to boogie board so I think surfing is the next logical step. Also, I really wish I was a mermaid.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently working on my Masters of Science in Elementary Education. Oh, dear God, the stress. Don't even get me started.

I’m really good at

Apparently, I'm good at swing dancing and knitting. Oh, and did I mention stressing out about school?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How did I get to be this old, and how do I make it stop?

On a typical Friday night I am

What is this free time you speak of?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Potter Puppet Pals make me giggle.

You should message me if

Message me if:

1. You have something more worthwhile to say to me than anything to the effect of "You are cute" or "You have a really pretty smile". If the only reason you are inclined to message me is the way I look, I'm not interested.

2. You have something in common with me.

3. You are looking for someone to have a good "Stitch 'n Bitch" session with.
