My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been in Portland for 9 years now, which is way longer than I expected, but I still like it here.

I've done all the Portland things, been in a band, worked at a bike shop, dumpster dived, organized drunk people, lived collectively, been broke down in California, etc. Slowing down a bit, working more, making time to get to know myself better, and slowly becoming a hermit.

I'm from New Orleans. Cis-dude. Bicycles. Pinball. Motorcycles. Synthesizers. That about sums me up. Yep, nothing more to see here. (that part is a joke about trying to sum up your life into a box)

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a lot. I've been twisting a lot of knobs recently, moving a lot of levers, pushing buttons, and making noises. Playing lots of pinball. Trying to make contact. Getting excited for new projects.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Doing the robot. Finding things on the internet. Flipping coins. Soldering. Driving safely.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Mustache? Eyebrows? Hair? You tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Hagakure, Catch-22, LOTR Series, The Incal, pretty much everything by Moebius/Jodorowsky, Black Hole.

Santa Sangre, El Topo, Mystery Train, Blazing Saddles, Buckaroo Banzai, Ghost Dog. Desperate Living is one of my all time favorites.

The Venture Brothers, Carnivale, Game of Thrones, Futurama, X-Files.

Recently I've been listening to Duke Slammer, Author and Punisher, Black Moth Super Rainbow. Old standbys: Quintron, Kid Koala, Bo Diddley, Link Wray, The Bar-Kays, Dr. John, Fats Domino, Flying Lotus, Giorgio Moroder, Goblin, Japanther, Jimmy Smith, The Mummies, Parliament, The Ramones, The Reigning Sound, Rebirth Brass Band, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, The Sonics, Sparks, Suicide, The Ventures, Hank Williams, etc..

As for food, I like it all. I was on an indian food kick for a while, but these days I am eating sandwiches more than anything else.

This whole favorite list thing is very incomplete and I am sure I am forgetting lots of things, but it was written hastily.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I think the only thing I could never do without would be somewhere to sleep, I could get by with very little, but I need my sleep!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bad ideas. How did I get here? Pinball machines. New Orleans. What module I am gonna buy/build next for my modular synthesizer. Trains. Butts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most of my life I have secretly wanted to be a voice actor.

And here is proof that I can dance, but I don't usually do this in front of people:

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to! Wanna do some loud droney synthesizer slow jams? Need a pinball coach? You're queer. I have a lot of strange, but true stories and like to the tell them. I would also like to hear yours.
