Why, hello there!

I'm Anna, 25, living a relatively quiet life in Wellington.
I am, quite frankly, pretty awesome. Very laid back, love a good laugh and a good wine. I would love to meet the genius who discovered that wine and cheese go together.
I'm a bit of a domestic goddess. I love to cook, especially when I can afford to buy decent ingredients. I like to bake occassionally. And I can clean ;P

Haven't been on here in a long while. Time to fire it back up, and time to play!

What I'm doing with my life? Interesting question.
I like to think that I live a life of leisure. But alas, one must work sometimes to pay the rent. I have a crappy job, that I don't actually mind. I sometimes even like it. For the sake of avoiding the awkward question of 'where do you work?' on an awkward first meeting, I work at a supermarket (no I wont tell you which, until I've met you and/or have decided you aren't going to stalk me) in customer services.
I've just finished my BDes degree, but I don't know if I want to continue on that path...
I've joined the gym recently, for the sake of feeling too lazy and needing a new... hobby, I suppose.

My job, crappy as it may be.
I'm also pretty nifty with graphic design and typography.
Cooking, baking, cleaning!
I also know a lot about avocados, of all things.

I'm tall. 6ft tall. So I can't really wear high heels without towering over absolutely everybody.

Books: i read a lot but my favourites would be Harry Potter, JK Rowling (yes, I'm a bit of a geek); Alex series, Tessa Duder; Tatiana and Alexander series, Belinda Alexandra; and (I'm ashamed to say) Twilight saga, Stephanie Meyers. Ken Follet, also very good. Jeffery Archer, Lee Child, Wally Lamb... The list goes on.

Movies: love the ones that you have to watch twice to understand. Inception, Fight Club, Donny Darko, American Beauty, Wristcutters: A Love Story. The rage in placid lake, Almost Famous, cruel intentions...

Shows: I don't much watch TV, only what I have on my harddrive. Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Weeds, Greys Anatomy, Buffy, the Sopranos...

Music: Mainly Rock. My favourite band would have to be Nine Inch Nails. Kings of Leon, Placebo, Linkin Park...

Bad design. Just because someone has a computer doesn't make them a designer. When I walk past signs with terrible kerning or inappropriate typeface, I cringe!

Probably at work.
No, really. Possibly at home, or at a mates place with a bottle of wine.

I sometimes have difficulty with telling left from right! Sometimes I really have to think about it, or see which hand makes an 'L'! (for loser)

You're not creepy, non judgmental in a not rascist, not obsessed with judging everybody for what they look like or what they wear, their sexual orientation kind of way. I'm quite a non judgemental kind of gal.
