My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i am an arbiter of style and a native of brooklyn, and happily returned to the city by the bay. brooklyn has pockets of awesome but the easy bay is heaven. i refer to intense inspirational shares as ~streams of consciousness~. i love words (conspicuous, reckon, trousers, innocuous and queue, to name a few) but suck at crossword puzzles.

I'm pretty introspective and thoughtful. Are we all old souls? Consider myself perpetual student and like being around people I can learn from. while i do tend to have a more serious disposition, it means i get shit done and enjoy laughter and those quick to smile. i fancy myself an admirer of whimsy, if not myself whimsical. I am quick to identify as quirky

I am pretty outgoing and social though need down time like anyone else. I love massage and little PDAs and seek out others who are able to own their baggage. i.e. you've done some personal development/are able to learn from your actions and the like.

some things i love: Amsterdam, tulips, Art Deco, French cinema, shades of purple, poutine, the burner ethos, british slang, edamame, glitter, unadulterated laughter, colors, facepaint, cuddles, the sky & smell in the air just before a thunderstorm, personality tests (i'm an ENFJ ), scent of jasmine and most night blooms, fizzy water, rose anything, photography, any book in the taschen series, yoga, rioja wine, dinner parties, & vintage clothes.

some things that i do not like: loud people, dust bunnies, following the crowd, litter, tobacco, reality tv, and poor spelling.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finding my way in the east bay, trying to relinquish need for control, seeking out good people, nurturing solid friendships and creating beauty, cuz i am kinda crafty ;-)

Some might say I lead a charmed life. I engage easily and identify as extroverted. I am blessed by my friends and community. I seek to give my best and am rewarded in kind.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
putting others at ease, connecting across social circles, communicating, putting together a fantastic look, taking photos, making introductions, styling, collaging, photoshop, hanging with wee ones - love their honesty

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This seems like a throwaway question depending on how literal one answers.

Things that when absent make for a less-enjoyable life: sunshine, being independent, cheeses!, human touch,
music, feeling understood, companionship
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do we all turn mute in elevators? Who decided pointy shoes were in? I like the notion of karma but really, why do good people get screwed? With the rent inflation, is it only a matter of time before more of us are homeless? Why are we here?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
if i am feeling jewy, having shabbat dinner with friends (my chosen family, bio fam on the other coast). On a solstice, with my fellow peeps at an all night celebration (I'm yawning just thinking about it). Most likely taking it as it comes and savoring the slow

I don't tend to like poetry. Would that I did appreciate it more, perhaps you can share your favorite Rumi or Khalil Gibran?
