I'm from the West Coast but have been firmly rooted in NYC for nearly 6 years- so while I'm technically still a transplant I feel very at home here and have no plans on leaving any time soon.

After all this time in the city I still feel pretty mellow, down-to-earth, and altogether nice, although I do have the desire to physically push down every single person who stops and answers their phone in the middle of the subway steps...hmm...

I curate exhibitions and co-run an artspace in Brooklyn, as well as assist part-time at a nonprofit arts organization in the city. Then there are always outside or freelance projects, but I won't bore the internet with those until they happen and need press :) I work hard and often but am happy to say that I'm learning how to balance my time better and enjoy the hell out of living in NYC.

I'm really good at remembering people...so watch out :) I'm an expert list maker, solid trivia partner, badass karaoke star, and better than most at reading maps.

My hair, when it's curly anyways, and often colorful nail polish. My sense of humor and way with sarcasm.

Art, good beer, friends & family, cheese, coffee, and a toothbrush (doesn't everything just seem better with clean teeth?)

my next trip and how I would really like a pet- I really really want a cat but the roommates against it so I just latch on to other peoples whenever possible. How to get funding for my next project. And what I'm eating for dinner.

probably checking out an art opening, then hitting up a low-key bar for dinner & more than one drink with friends. Or in my apartment with a bottle of wine and a movie, depends on how little sleep I've had that week...
