My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a guy. Tall, kinda smart, kinda funny, kinda shy. Kinda bored. It's funny to give details about myself, cuz I'm a complex dude (really, aren't we all?) Do I talk about my massive book collection? My freakishly large music collection? My ability to make unbelievably good sweet tea? Or do I play the false humility "aw shucks" role?

So I'll say this about myself: I'm a nerd. NOT one of those unable to socialize, living in their moms basement types...More of a person who loves to read, watch great movies, hear good music, and have great conversation. I try to stay well-versed in a lot of different topics, but I tend to lean towards politics, the arts, music, race/class/gender issues and technology (and how all of those intersect).

I like to write and create music as well. Currently it's a hobby, but I'm thinking of making it more of a professional option.

I'm a big football player big. I'm around 6'2", @ 265lbs, but fit. I workout to blow off steam, and to keep away from all those illness that just jump on my demographic when we turn 30 or so. Despite being kinda huge, I am actually quite the gentleman, and very much a laid-back sort of guy.

I like women who are funny and smart and confident. Nothing is sexier than a woman who is comfortable in her own skin.

Recently I've been solo traveling pretty extensively, and I absolutely look forward to my next trip somewhere, soon!

If you have any questions about me, just shoot a line via email, cuz I know I'm missing something

I am restless, chill, and creative
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it. And working. And increasing my absurd book and music collection. And trying to see as much of the world as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, Djing, Scrabble, Conversation, and figuring things out
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height? My size? My eyes? I dunno, honestly...probably the cape, though

I've been in the books heavily lately:

Slumberland by Paul Beatty. One of my favorite writers...matter of fact, I think "The White Boy Shuffle" should be required reading at HBCUs.

A TON of comic and graphic novels...I been outta the loop for the past year, and I don't know how that happened...

Toldja I'm kinda nerdy *shrug*

Best Movie?

NETFLIX IS CRACK! A lot of good French Horror films, and I HATE horror films. The best one I've seen recently, but can in NO WAY recommend? Martyrs. GREAT movie, but it's horrible. If you've seen it, you understand. If you haven't, just trust me on this one.

Best Album?
Recently? That last Kanye still gets burn round here. A ton of 60's and 70's Brazilian compilations. The Weeknd. Hudson Mohawke. Thundercat. Numero Group Records. Quantic. Scala. Rick Ross.

My current favorite thing is:

Best Food -
Just got back from the Pac Northwest. Let's just say the whole farm to fork movement is great, and Atlanta restaurants seem wack as hell right now
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good books, good music, good conversation, good sex, my own private space, and did I mention good sex?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, kids, music, learning, travel
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
These days? Chillin at home. I know, I'm lame.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
So, it was me, my cousin Clinton, and this drunk preacher, right? So we went into this gay bar in Detroit...

Yeah, right. Ask me and I might tell you something good. NO, the above never happened

you are smart, confident, can carry on a good conversation, interesting, sexy, like to laugh, and aren't a pretentious ass. Or if you just have a good joke or two to share. Jokes are great!
