My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am definitely a member of the baby boomer generations, but still working hard.

Update: I have just returned to Orlando after 8 years in the SF Bay Area. I would enjoy meeting someone to join me re-discovering Central Florida.

I moved to SF about 5 years ago after completing a 2 year temporary stint in the Bay Area. I love everything about San Francisco and the surrounding area. My commute a simple 6 block walk, or a ride on the California Cable Car. According to Yelp there are 220 restaurants within 4 blocks of apartment...some great ones, too! It doesn't get much better.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a little harder than I think I should be these days. But, I am also thinking about how to start winding this work thing down a little bit and gaining a bit better balance in life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
....being honest with people. It is important to me and it is how I want people to know me. I also play a pretty mean 5-string banjo in bluegrass style and cook pretty well, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am experienced and look it....people seem to call me Sir these days....more than I would like actually.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like to read non-fiction, history and military books. Some favorites include "Path Between the Seas" (a history of the Panama Canal) , "Matterhorn" (a Vietnam War memoir), and "River in the Desert" (the story of bringing water to Los Angeles).

Movies run about the same...anything by the Coen Brothers, Blackhawk Down, Das Boot and We Were Soldiers Once and Young.

I love great food for sure. Especially in restaurants that are about food and good value. Recent favorites are the meatball soup at Claudine, a grilled cheese sandwich at the Cowgirl Creamery Sidekick and sushi at Sanraku.
