Books - Ok, so I'm a big Books-on-tape guy b/c I used to have a
long commute. Stranger in a Strange Land, The entire Master &
Commander series by Patrick O'Brian. Atlas Shrugged. The Sun Also
Rises. Kitchen Confidential. A friend recommended "Freedom"...I
didn't think it was so great. *shrug* I didn't get what all the
talk was about...did i miss something?
Movies - Hmmm...Do Pixar shorts count? The short "Boundin' " always
puts in a good mood. "Joe Vs. The Volcano". "You Got Mail" (its a
chick-flick I know...) UHF . Clerks, Trust, Unbelievable Truth,
just about **anything** w/ Parker Posey. Mrs Parker & the
Vicious Circle. Many of the Cohen bros films...but I haven't seen
So many others.
TV: Newsroom, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, Newsradio, Mad Men,
Friends (yes, I still love it), Boardwalk Empire..etc... oh, and
New Girl...what a great show!
Dr.Who -- huge fan. Have been since I was 8. If you are..we should
definitely talk. :) Most Sci-fi shows are hit w/ me. Star Trek,
Farscape, etc. I never got into Stargate but I'd be willing to give
it another shot. Babylon 5 was a killer show too.
Music: I wont say that I like *all kinds*... but i find that there
is some song in every genre that i do like. If given a choice I
always for alternative/punk type music. I like music with a message
or a story...I dont much care for vapid lyrics that just cycle over
and over... I dont understand the draw. That said, I have found
that vapid lyrics with a fast tempo makes for great work out music.
Food - Indian, Thai, Middle eastern.
Really Spicy = Great!!
KILL YOUR TASTE BUDS = Ecstasy !!!
I love coffee & hot chocolate..but not together. :)
(I'm serious about the Dr. Who thing...really.)
